I find it quite odd that polar whirlwind is still available on GameStops website and its on its second day? What gets me is the other ones like jade, molten, and the others were in like limited supply and only available in store only and polar seems like they have a unlimited supply?

No. I think gamestop is being a bit greedy (Shocking, I know) and want people to order it online so they can get more money out of people. Also, it is a way to drum up the rare item at stores and get people in.

Don't worry they will all gone soon enough, we got early here in Canada about 3 weeks ago i think, now every Eb Games don't have anymore so i was thinking if they will restock her again or she'll end up like the rest of the in-game variant such as molten, jade, granite etc.

How does GS get more money from people ordering online?

They pay for shipping either way, they may get a discount for the bulk they do, but they still pay to ship items.

At $3.49 for shipping, they're not making much. Considering they're not getting to ship them in-bulk to stores, I seriously doubt it's part of some greater conspiracy.

Wow, right? Where's Mulder and Scully? I sprang for $6 shipping b/c every day the monkeys at USPS have it the greater the chance it will end up to my door damaged.

Also, regarding Polar: She's had a number of months head start elsewhere; I anticipate she will be around for much longer because most have already scalped/purchased it at other venues.

i ordered from gamestop a 3 pack of zook, chill, ignitor from gamestop arrived damaged
i ordered from toysrus a lightcore pop fizz recieved crushed spoke with toysrus and they shipped me another one guess what recieved worse than the 1st crushed and damaged again

online purchasing is totally not worth it if you plan to not open the package and keep for collectors purposes!

I have only ordered from Gamestop once. Other than their phone reps being clueless to certain things the package came fine. Had plenty of protection in the box. Now, I have heard of TRU being terrible.

I rate Gamestop 2nd...Amazon 1st...TRU LAST in terms of packaging expertise.

I have tried again and again to buy from TRU...had a nice nasty conversation with their staff...but I don't order there unless I plan on opening whatever comes. I totally trust Amazon to ship it to me in one piece. Gamestop is a mixed bag for me---their problem is when they ship it in an oversized box and don't fill it---inviting problems. My online purchase was hedged with my in store purchases so I'll open whatever got damaged
