Costly it was, but its 24.99 off now. Useless is a matter of question. My kids got bored about 90% through SSA and about 50% through SG. They still like to battle each other and friends so this is a small investment to keep them interested in this rather large investment. They always ask for it at the store and I reply I'm not buying that for 40 bucks!

It isn't so bad i just wish there was a way to power it off the portal or something instead of batteries. Proba cost or design issue there.

Thanks for the heads up, I may order tomorrow. Do you guys know what else is on sale? I know Dragonfire Cannon is $15. I'm sure there is more I just can't find it.

I got it today. It basically just lights up and goes through color changes like the portal. It looks nice and its sturdy. The kids like it and are playing as I type.

I see thanks. Will probably pick one up. I balked at $40, but $16 seems more reasonable. My son and I have been doing draw card -vs- battles and will figure out how this could add to the fun.
