So this is pretty interesting.

This video shows off three unused maps in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. The first seems to be just a general test map for Blink's abilities. The second doesn't have a definitive purpose, though I think it may just be for testing the game's lighting system.

The third however, is actually a map based off of Hogwarts, from Harry Potter. Eurocom developed the video game adaption of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, so it's likely they used it as a test map for Sgt. Byrd...or something. Honestly, I can't see what it really would of been used for. It's funny that they left this in the game's code, though.

I guess they wanted to test out Byrd's flying levels, so they thought using a huge map from their previous game would be a good idea?

That's like how Naughty Dog tried to recreate a track from Diddy Kong Racing on their engine for Crash Team Racing. <.<;

I don't think that was it. The map has hardly any collision detection on it. And any map could of been used to test how Sgt. Byrd's flight works.

It's interesting, perhaps they had Harry Potter fans within the Dev team.
