Military. Of course, you can't do that forever. I'm honestly thinking about becoming a teacher after I retire from the military.

As for Commentator, depends on what kind. Sports casters get paid like no tomorrow.

A writer is an excellent job to have on the side, but it can't be your main source of income unless you're a real master at it, like J.K. Rowling or Stephen King. It's just too risky.
