darkSpyro

Inspired by the ideas given to me by NINJAsk11, I have decided to create a new Series. Consider it a continuation of The Legend of Spyro series and also a darker version of Skylanders. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1: The Recurring Nightmare

Spyro was walking around in a dark abyss.
He looked around. The spirits of all of the creatures he killed were flying around him.
"You may have defeated our King, but you cannot stop us from resurrecting him!" they cried.
"Stop this!" Spyro cried.
"You are too weak to stop us fool! You are still drained of your powers!"
"Shut up! I can still take you all on!" Spyro screamed.

A giant black dragon rose from the floor. It was Cynder.
She shot a blast of darkness at him.
"Time to wake up Spyro!" she cried.
"No!" Spyro exclaimed.
"Spyro! Wake up!" Cynder cried again. "Wake up! You're having a nightmare!"

"ARGH!" Spyro screamed, waking up.
"Spyro. You're having another Nightmare." Cynder said.
Spyro became relaxed. "Sorry Cynder. It's that same one again though. It's starting to bug me."
"It's probably still a bit of fear left from Malefor." Cynder replied.
"Yeah, I guess." Spyro said. "But doesn't it seem weird that it's still affecting me? I mean, he's been dead for two months now."
"And we're still missing our powers." Cynder reminded. "His dark magic may still be affecting us."
Spyro sighed. "You may be right."

He lay back down. "I guess we should probably get back to sleep now..."
"Good idea." Cynder said, yawning.

Spyro walked around in a magical plain.
"Where am I?" he wondered.
"Spyro. This is the Dream of Fire."
"Ignitus? Is that you!?" Spyro called out, recognising the voice.
"You shall be reminded of your Flaming Powers here!" the voice echoed. "Listen well, as you will need them all on the quest you are heading on."

Dummies appeared around him.
"Concentrate your power, and you shall be able to released the Raging Flames from within!"
Spyro closed his eyes. He breathed fire at the Dummies.
He was then able to perform a Flame Charge.
He followed it up with a Flame Somersault.
He then released all of his Flame Energy to release a Fury Attack.
"Good job, young one. But you have not yet mastered it's power. I shall come back in contact with you soon..."
"Wait Ignitus!" Spyro called. "Wait!"

Spyro woke up. He was back in a field.
It was now morning, but Cynder was missing.
"Cynder?" he called out. "Cynder?!"

An Flaming Arrow was shot at him.
"Quiet fool! They'll hear us!"
"Who's there?" Spyro yelled. "SHOW YOURSELF!"

An Elf Archer jumped down in front of him. He had blue hair, and wore a blindfold.
His clothes were standard Archery Uniform, with Armour. Except he also wore a Gauntlet on his right hand.
"Just call me Flaresus." he replied. "And I don't know who you are, but personally, I don't care."
"I'm Spyro. Spyro the Dragon."
"I said I didn't care who you were."
"Whatever. Why are you here, and where is Cynder?"
"Ah. She must be the one who they kidnapped earlier."
Spyro stared at him. "They?"
Flaresus smiled. "You have no idea who they are, so you."
"Who are they?!" Spyro demanded.
"The Arkeyans. The most feared Warriors on this side of the planet. If they see something they like, then it become's theirs."
"Take me to them." Spyro said.
"Sorry, but they don't welcome outsiders..." Flaresus started.
"I SAID TAKE ME TO THEM!" Spyro demanded.
"Alright." Flaresus replied. "But you'd need to power up first. You know how to wield the Elemental Power of Fire, correct?"
"Of course. I AM a Purple Dragon." Spyro replied, acting a little cocky.
"Then I shall train you." Flaresus said. "Listen well, and you may even be able to awaken the Raging Flames from within."
"Okay. Let's see what you got." Spyro said.

Chapter 2: The Bambazoo Swamp

Flaresus fired a flame arrow at a tree in the distance.
Spyro chased after the arrow, and eventually, overtook it and crashed into the tree.

Flaresus smiled. "You are learning well. With only a little more training, you can fully awaken the full power."
"What must I do?" Spyro asked.
"You have done all you can for now." Flaresus replied. "There is more to learn, but you are not yet ready. For now, we shall head to the Arkeyan's Base."
Spyro nodded. "Okay."
He flew into the sky.
Flaresus ran after him.

Spyro flew, while Flaresus ran ahead.
"So where is this base?" Spyro asked.
"Not too far, but we must cross the Bambazoo Swamp to reach there." Flaresus replied. "But..."
"But what?" Spyro asked.
"It is incredibly dangerous." Flaresus replied. "The Bambazookas who live there will kill any intruders they see."
"We can handle them." Spyro said. "Fire kills plants."
He flew ahead into the Swamp.
"Spyro! Not so fast!" Flaresus called out.

He was too late. Spyro was already too far ahead.
Flaresus sighed.
"I'll wait for you at the Temple!" he cried.

Spyro landed on a platform. He looked around.
"No sign of these Bamba-whatevers." he commented. "They're probably trembling with the presence of me in the area."
"Oh, you wish!"

An army of Bambazookers ran over to him. They shot cacti at him.
Spyro flew around, and avoided them. He then shot fire, and continued on.

Another set of Bambazookers ran over.
Spyro was ready to shoot fire, but fell asleep.

Spyro awoke in the Magical Plain again.
"Welcome back Spyro..." Ignitus's voice echoed. "You are ready to learn another skill of the Fire Element - The Flame Dash!"
"What?" Spyro asked.
"Focus all energy, and leave a trail of Fire behind you when charging." Ignitus replied. "Use this to your advantage to create walls of fire that will protect you from harm."

Spyro closed his eyes. He began focusing energy. He began charging.
A trail of fire shot out behind him.

Dummies appeared on the other side of the fire.
"Focus more power to shoot Fire Bursts over the wall at enemies."
Spyro focused power and shot a ball of Flame over the wall.

"Well done young one. I look forward to seeing you again once you are ready..."

Spyro woke up. He was locked in a wooden cage.
"Let me outta here!" he demanded.
One Bambazooka approached him. He carried a bamboo tube on his shoulder.
"Why would we do that?" he asked. "Us Bambazookas need to eat too."
"Gross." Spyro replied. "But please! You gotta let me go! I saved the world from Malefor!"
The Bambazooka stared at him. "Do not mention that name around here."
"Why not?" Spyro asked.
He looked side to side. "We used to be part of Malefor's Army, but he double crossed us! He tried to kill us, then banished us here. That's why we help the Arkeyans. They plan on stopping Malefor's Army before they can resurrect him!"
Spyro stared at him. "Take me to them."
"They don't see just anyone you know."
"TAKE ME TO THEM!" Spyro demanded, breaking out of the cage.
"I'll see what I can do." he replied.

Spyro stood in an arena.
The Bambazooka approached him. "We'll take you to him, but you must face me in battle first!"
Spyro smiled. "Fine by me. What name do you go by? I'm SPyro the Dragon."
"Zooka!" he replied.
"Unoriginal." Spyro said, taunting him.
"See if this is unoriginal!" he replied, firing a missile out of the bamboo tube.
Spyro flew past it, and shot down some Fire Breath.

He landed on the floor, and Flame Charged around Zooka.
He countered by releasing Mushrooms around him.
Spyro fired a Fire Burst, which gave Zooka direct damage.

A leaf on Zooka's head fell off.
"Now you're in for it!" he cried, firing multiple rockets at him.
Spyro flew around, but still took damage from them. He fell down.
Blood came from his left wing.
"Damn!" he cried.
Zooka held the Bamboo Rocket up to Spyro's throat. "Any last words?"
"Yes." Spyro replied. "Duck!"
He shot another Fire Blast at Zooka's head.
Some leaves burnt off.

Zooka grew bigger, and became redder.
"NOW YOU'RE IN TROUBLE!" he screamed, smashing at the floor, causing Cacti to sprout everywhere.
Spyro Flame Somersaulted through the Cacti, and get close to Zooka.
He then released his Flame Fury.

Flames engulfed the arena. The Bambazookas all ran off, out of the seating areas.

Once thee flames subsided, all that was left was Spyro, and Zooka - who had been reduced to a pile of ash.

An elderly Bambazooka approached Spyro. "You have managed to defeat our toughest Warrior. Not many have done that. Follow that path up north, and you shall find the Arkeyan's Base. Just, watch out."
Spyro nodded. "Thanks."

He walked off towards the path, as his wing was still injured.

New chapter in a few days. Had an incident with my laptop and lost all of my Pictures, along with most of my Videos and Audio Files (Most of which were needed for YouTube stuff). It's annoyed me, and it may take a while to fix everything, so I won't have time to write another chapter.

Chapter 3: The Ancient Robot

Spyro approached a castle. "This must be their base. Wow, it sure is fancy."

Two skeletons wearing armour blocked the entrance.
"State your reason for showing up!" on demanded, holding up a sword.
"I'm Spyro the Dragon, and I request to see your leader." Spyro replied.
"I don't buy it." the soldier said.
"Wait, maybe he's the one." the other said. "He IS a Purple Dragon after all."
"Alright, you may enter." he said. "Just walk to the end of the corridor and you'll reach our king. But watch out."
"For what?" Spyro asked.
They both smiled. "Nothing."

Spyro walked across the corridor.
"There's the room!" he cried. "I wonder what they warned me to watch out for was. I haven't seen a thing."

The ground in front of him collapsed. A drill robot burst out.
"Intruder detected: Identified as a Purple Dragon." it said. "Scanning all known Purple Dragons."
"What the... Who are you?" Spyro asked.
"I an the Drillbot." it replied. "Scan Complete. Purple Dragon said to be Malefor. Must Eliminate."

The Drillbot fired a rocket at Spyro.
He couldn't avoid it in time, due to his injured wing.
Spyro collapsed.

Spyro was in the Dark Abyss again.
"Oh no..." he commented.

Ghosts of everyone he had killed once before flew around him.
"You may have defeated our King, but you cannot stop us from resurrecting him!"
"What do you mean?" Spyro called out. "Who ARE you?"
"That is not for you to know! We shall stop you before your true powers are awakened!"

A ghostly figure appeared in front of him.
The figure was an elf, dressed completely in black.
It shot an Energy Orb at him.
The Chronicler appeared in front of Spyro and took the hit.
"Spyro! I cannot hold it off for long! Wake up!" he cried.
"Chronicler?" Spyro cried. "What is this?"

Spyro awoke. He was in a throne room.
Drillbot stood there in front of him. "Bzzt. Target Awakened. Battle Mode Initiate."
"If it's a battle you want..." Spyro said, pulling himself up. "It's a battle you'll get!"

Drillbot fired multiple rockets at Spyro.
He used a swift roll to avoid them, and attacked using his Flame Breath.
He then used a Flame Charge, to which Drillbot countered with lasers.

"STOP!"

A giant robot walked in.
"I am the Arkeyan King. State your business here." it said.
"My name is Spyro the Dragon." Spyro replied. "And I have been told that you captured my friend!"
The King thought. "Oh, that must have been the black-purple dragon. She's been nothing but trouble since she arrived."
"So, uh... Could you let her go?" Spyro asked.
"Sorry, but she provided too much trouble for my Army." The Arkeyan King replied. "She attacked on sight of them. I'll let her go, but you'll need to bring one of the Dragon Elders."
Spyro nodded. "Why?"
"I need to be sure that you're the real deal." the King replied. "If you are Spyro, then you'll have no problem bringing one of the Elders here, correct?"
"I guess that makes sense..." Spyro replied.
"But to make sure you don't try anything sneaky in an attempt to rescue your friend, I shall send one of my soldiers to go with you." he said.

A Skeleton wearing blue armour walked in. He also carried a sword and a shield.
"Chopporeck. Tag along with this Dragon." the King said.
The Skeleton bowed. "As you wish, King."
He approached Spyro.
"The fastest way would be if we flew." Chopporeck said.
"Easy for you to say. My wing is injured." Spyro replied.
"We shall take the teleport pads there then." Chopporeck replied. "They won't take us directly there, but they'll bring us close enough to it."

Spyro and Chopporeck approached a teleport pad.
"This may feel weird." Chopporeck said, stepping onto it with Spyro.
"Uuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhh!" Spyro cried.

Chapter 4: The Curse!

Spyro and Chopporeck arrived in a jungle.
"Damn. We're still quite a bit away from the Temple." Spyro commented.
"Yeah. I told you it wouldn't take us directly there." Chopporeck replied.

The two began walking through the jungle.
They approached a locked door.
"I remember these." Spyro said. "You can only open them from the inside."
"Looks like we have to find the way to open it!" Chopporeck said. "And by 'we', I mean 'you'."
Chopporeck walked over to the door and stood there.
"Yeah, that makes sense." Spyro said. "I never get any help around here."
He walked off into the secret passage.
"Not really secret if it isn't covered up." Chopporeck commented.

Some Beasts surrounded Spyro as he entered the switch room.
He dodged all of their attacks, then countered with Fire Breath.
One snuck up behind him and knocked him at the back of his head.
"Not again..." Spyro commented, as he fainted.

Spyro awoke in the Dark Abyss.
"What do you want from me?!?" he demanded.
The Chronicler approached Spyro.
"Hello young one." he said in Ignitus's voice. "I must tell you something. Once you have regained your strength for another element, then I require you to visit me."
"Wait... Ignitus?!?" Spyro cried. "Is that you?"
"Yes. But now is not the time to explain." he replied. "You are being hunted. Rescue Cynder, then head to Dante's Freezer..."

The shadow elf appeared again.
"Be afraid, young dragon." it said. "Be afraid... of the dark!"
It shot a magical skull at Spyro, and it surrounded him with dark magic.
"NOOOOOO!" Spyro cried in fear.

Spyro awoke. He was at the Dragon Temple entrance.
Chopporeck approached him. "Finally! I've been waiting ages!"
"How long was I out for?" Spyro asked.
"Spyro. You've been sleeping for 10 years!" Chopporeck cried.
"What?!?" Spyro screamed.
"I'm just kidding!" Chopporeck said, in laughter. "But you have been out for a good few hours."
"Where is everyone?" Spyro asked.
Flaresus approached him. "They have evacuated."
"Flaresus! Why?" Spyro asked, getting up.
"Because..." Flaresus replied. "This place was attacked."
"By who?" Spyro asked.

"Nyahahahahaha"

"Who's there?!?" Spyro demanded.
"That voice..." Chopporeck said.

"Look who's finally awake."

The elf from Spyro's nightmare appeared in a gust of smoke.
She had a black dress, and had blue skin.
"Well well well." she said. "I thought you'd never awake after that curse I gave to you."
"Who are you?!?" Spyro demanded.
"That is Hexus." Chopporeck replied. "The nastiest witch in the land, who is also one of the Leaders in Malefor's Army."
"You mean WAS one of the Leaders." Hexus called back. "Ever since you killed Malefor, the land has been brought back to peace. It disgusts me. So now I am going to resurrect him!"
"How?" Flaresus asked.
Hexus smiled. "I need the blood of the creature who killed him."
She fired an orb of energy at Spyro.
He dodged it, and tried to fire a Fireball.

A cloud of smoke came out.

"Enjoy my little Hex?" Hexus asked. "Until you can find a way to break it, then you will be unable to use any sort of Fire Skills."
Spyro backed away slightly.

A blast of Electricity was shot at Hexus. She was knocked back.
Volteer landed next to Spyro. "Hop on my back!"
Spyro, Chopporeck and Flaresus hopped onto his back, and he flew off out of the Temple.

"Volteer. What's going on?" Spyro asked.
"I'll tell you once we meet up with the others." Volteer replied.
"Where are they?" Flaresus asked.
"Dante's Freezer!"

Wait, so when did Hex become evil, and this 'Zooka' sounds an awful lot like Zook. And, anyway, Bambazookas can't walk, well, it states the Zook is the only one that can walk.
AWESOME FAN FIC BTW! I'M GONNA STAY TUNED. EVEN IF IT'S NOT ACCURATE TO THE REAL SKYLANDERS.

Just saw the link to this from your skylanders fanfic, This is a great way to combine TLOS and skylanders together! just wondering, obviously you are using skylander characters and giving them new names (Zooka=Zook, Hexus=Hex), but are you also taking fan characters too? maybe Seismic Quake can be someone Spyro walks into if he goes to the rock/lava golems depending on how you want to write it, but that's just my opinion. Regardless, keep up the good work!

@SonicGX98 - That's a good idea, but I think for now I'll just stick with the original Skylanders. I will most likely use Fan Characters in the future though!

Chapter 5: Freeze!

Volteer landed inside a cave deep within Dante's Freezer.
"So why are we here, Volteer?" Spyro asked. "And why have you been so quiet?"
Cyril and Terrador approached them.
"If he speaks too much, they might track us!" Cyril replied.
"Trust me. It's a real punishment." Volteer added.
"I'm kinda enjoying the peace and quiet." Terrador joked.

"So why are you hiding here?" Flaresus asked. "The powers of you three combined should be plenty to kill that Hexus, right?"
"Or is it more complicated than that?" Chopporeck asked.
"Correct!" Cyril replied. "She got us when we weren't expecting it, and now we cannot use our elemental powers to our full potential."
"Yeah. We can only use the breath." Terrador said. "Weak, right?"
"That's what she done to me." Spyro said. "But I can't use any of my Fire Powers."
"And the other elements..." Volteer asked.
"I've been drained of my powers ever since we defeated Malefor." Spyro replied.
"Oh, right. And where's Cynder?" Cyril asked.
"I can explain that." Chopporeck replied. "She gave the Arkeyans a bit of trouble, so our King locked her away. She's free to go whenever, but first one of you three will need to go to our Castle to prove that Spyro is the real deal."
"Well in this state, we're kind of useless." Terrador replied. "But..."
"But..." Spyro asked.
"Maybe the Chronicler has a solution?" Terrador asked. "You've seen him before, right? Maybe he could help remove that curse!"
"That could be true..." Spyro replied.
"It's worth a shot." Flaresus said. "I'll head with you."
"And I have no choice." Chopporeck added.
"Oh, and one more thing." Cyril said. "You should..."

CRASH!

A blue ice yeti with four arms broke through the walls. He had white fur. He also had a spiked helmet, and spiked armour on his arms and chest.
"Found you!"
He released a powerful punch towards Spyro and the Elders.

They all dodged.
"Who are you?" Spyro demanded.
The yeti smiled. "You may know me as... Slam."
He released another punch, which everyone dodged.
"Why are you doing this?" Chopporeck asked.
"Oh... You'd like to know that, wouldn't you." Slam replied. "But no!"
He shot a giant ice blast at everyone.
They were all caught in the blast, and became trapped in ice.

Slam stared at the ice statues.
"Mission complete. I should report back to Hexus."
He ran off.

A flame began glowing from one of the statues.
Flaresus broke out.
Chopporeck also broke out, due to him being directly next to Flaresus.

Flaresus looked at his bow. "Damn! That overheated it."
"How can a magical bow overheat?" Chopporeck asked.
"I don't know, but we'll need to find a way to sort this out soon." Flaresus replied.

An ice javelin was thrown at them.
They both easily dodged it.
"Who's there?" Chopporeck asked, readying his sword.
A woman wearing blue armour approached them. She held a javelin and a shield.
"You may call me Chel." she replied. "I am the elite guardian of this Kingdom, and I can help you. Deep within our Kingdom is a sacred temple, where we keep our heat energy. There, you can restore your bow and help your friends."
"Why do you have heat energy in an Ice Kingdom?" Chopporeck asked. "Wouldn't that melt everything?"
Chel smiled. "Follow me."

Spyro awoke once again in the dream world.
"What now?!" he demanded.
A light source flew around him.
"Spyro, man! You're alive!" it called out. "Meet me back home!"
"Sparx? Is that you?" Spyro called out.
"I'm waiting, bro!" the light said, before vanishing.

Hexus appeared again.
"Say goodbye, twerp!"
She shot an energy orb at him.
"NOOOOO!" Spyro screamed.

Chel lead Flaresus and Chopporeck into a Kingdom.
Despite being in a frozen cave, it was full of life, and had a great deal of beauty.
"Oh, that's why you need the heat source." Flaresus said. "Where can we find it?"
Chel smiled. "It's not that simple."
"Why not?" Chopporeck asked.
"To get access to it, you must prove your strength." Chel replied. "By fighting me!"

Chopporeck and Flaresus prepared for battle.
"Bring. It. On." they both said.

Good! Besides Flaresus (Flameslinger), Chopporeck (Chop Chop), and Chel (Chill?), can we expect other freindly skylander characters, and maybe include non skylanders like maybe Flynn, Cali, or even Kaos?

Maybe in the future we can expect to see them.

Also, lack of chapters because my Summer Holidays have began recently, and I'm not wasting all of it on the internet!

Chapter 6: Flaming Dreams!

Chopporeck pulled out his sword and struck Chel, however she blocked it using an ice shield.
Flaresus pulled out his bow, and fired regular arrows, which Chel also blocked.
Chel then countered by throwing two Ice Javelin, one hit Chopporeck, the other hit Flaresus.

"She's good." Chopporeck said. "We're gonna have to work together if we want to beat her."
"Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing anyway?" Flaresus asked. "We just need to think of a plan."
"Oh, yeah." Chopporeck said, looking side-to-side. "I knew that. That's what I meant."
"I know you didn't know that." Flaresus replied. "But it's okay, I have a plan."

Flaresus ran towards Chel and fired an arrow. She blocked it again.
She then knocked him back.
"Why didn't you help?!" Flaresus cried.
"I was going to, but you never told me the plan." Chopporeck replied.
Flaresus sighed. "Okay, so the plan is..."

Flaresus whispered into Chopporeck's ear.
Chopporeck nodded. "Smart. So, uh... what does it mean?"
"Just do what I said!" Flaresus replied, firing another arrow at Chel.

"You never learn." Chel replied, blocking the arrow.
She then threw another javelin. Chopporeck hit it with his sword, and knocked it at Flaresus, who picked it up, and put it in his Bow.
He fired the Javelin back at Chel.
Chel stood there, as the Javelin flew past her. "You missed."
"Wasn't aiming at ya." Flaresus replied, as the Javelin hit the side of the walls.
That caused vibrations in the cave, and caused rocks to fall down onto Chel.

Chel crawled out from under the rocks, and smiled. "Smart plan. Working together to use my skills to your advantage. Okay, I'll take you to the heat source."

She lead the two up to a castle.
She lifted a small statue, and pressed a button underneath.
A staircase opened up next to it.
"Down there is the heat energy you will require. Just absorb it, and you shall regain your powers." Chel said. "But beware of the flames. Some say they come to life."
Flaresus smiled. "I think we'll be fine."
"Is it too late to turn back?" Chopporeck asked nervously."
"Yes." Flaresus replied, pulling him down the stairs.

Spyro woke up again. This time he was surrounded by complete darkness.
Fire then appeared around him.
"Spyro. Awaken my full power, and I shall share it with you." they echoed.
"What? Who are you?" Spyro asked.
"I am Ignus. The Raging Flames who live within you. Unfortunately, my power has drained, and only one person can help you restore my power. That person is..."

Flaresus fired an arrow at a Cyclops.
Chopporeck slashed him in two.
They then arrived in a firey cave.

"How am I supposed to know?" Flaresus replied, walking up to the centre.
He absorbed the power of the flames into himself.
He fired a fire arrow.
"There! My power is back. Now we can save Spyro and the other Dragons." he commented.

"Are those Flames supposed to be moving?" Chopporeck asked, pointing at some flames which shot at Flaresus.
Flaresus dodged them. "Who's there?!"
"Ignus..." a voice echoed, as more flames shot out.

Flaresus and Chopporeck ran out, with some flames chasing them, yet leaving no burn or melt marks behind.

Flaresus and Chopporeck reached the frozen Dragons.
The flames were gone.
"Am I the only one who noticed that those flames never melted anything?" Chopporeck asked.
"They were controlled." Flaresus replied. "Someone was attacking us."
"Why?" Chopporeck asked.
"No idea. But they probably didn't want us to free the dragons." Flaresus replied, firing a flame arrow at Spyro and the Elders.

The ice melted, and they were free.

"Thanks, but I'm still feeling a little chilly." Spyro said.
He sneezed, and Ice came out of his nose.
"Spyro! You've regained the power of Ice!" Cyril cried with joy.
"Well, what do you know. I have!" Spyro cheered.
"And now we must train you to fully know your powers."

Chel jumped in front of him.
"Chel?" Chopporeck asked. "Why didn't you help us back there when the flames were chasing us?"
Chel looked at Chopporeck. "There were no flames chasing you. You two left in a panic, but nothing was following."
"That's strange..." Flaresus commented.

Chel shot out a block of ice. "Now young Dragon! Spyro, was it? I will help you learn everything you need to know about the power of Ice!"

Done! Also, I may stop my other Skylanders Fan-Fiction, and begin one similar, but with no cross-overs (AKA, no Kirby, Pokemon, Zelda, etc references). What do you guys think about that?
