Curious how common today's hidden offers are. It popped up as a gem above a building. My wife (level 22) got one for the $1.99 pack of gems and my son (level 23) got one for the $14.99 pack. They are great discounts and it seems like they are prepping gem buyers for the big event tomorrow.

I have yet to get an offer. The offers lasted for an hour and could be used seemingly limitlessly.

Also, any thoughts on the game-changer tomorrow? I feel like they might be slowly working in Swap Force, as the media and store events have already begun in the US for Swap Force. There is a big Skylanders event at a national chain video game store on Saturday as well.

I don't know how "gamechanging" a double XP/Gold weekend is and the Memorial Day sales were much better but there it is. I guess there's still time for more to be added to the event but as of right now this certainly isn't changing how I play the game. I wonder if this is more for newer players to catch before new content is added. We already know that they'll be adding all the SWAP Force characters at launch.

For me, the event is ok since it will help to boost my Skylanders level. Long missions, lots of money, a few gems for raising Skylanders to level 12!!
Of course, Memorial Day was much better

I'm bummed that Arbo is only 25% off. I was hoping for 50%. I guess I'll wait. I have almost 2 million energy now, and having crops pop up faster is just going to cost me money. I haven't had a grow crop mission in weeks.

75% off the bakery is nice, but I won one from the well before I won SBB, so I don't really want a second one. Between the snack stands, fizzy factories, and one bakery, my Mabu are already in desperate need of a dentist. Plus, I have serious space issues.

Also, if you're going to say double xp and gold from EVERYTHING you do, shouldn't the buildings give double xp and gold too? At this point, I need kingdom xp far more than skylander xp.

Was also bummed to not see many great sales, but after collecting from all the sanctuaries at 2x the gold, I felt a little better. Will probably get my 5 mil skylanders spin this weekend easily.

Thanks for pointing this out. This was an error that has since been corrected. Double XP from everything is now in effect! (buildings too!)

I'm excited about the double gold/xp. They never did say it was going to be a sale, but an event. I don't know if it's game changing, other than being able to catch up quicker. I've found a couple of the hidden deals (didn't know what they were when they popped up, until now). I got one offer for 100 pack of gems for $0.99. I don't like spending money on virtual stuff, so I don't think I'll be partaking in any of these sales. It would be nice if some of the hidden offers were for discounts on Skylanders or companions. But I guess having offers for the gems makes Activision money, and I get that. It's just not personally affecting me.

My buildings are not giving double XP. I force closed the game and went back in thinking maybe there was a mini update that needed a restart. Nope. Anybody else?

I came here to see what the deal was, read the thread, force closed and now it is working.

I did it again and still nothing. Maybe we are just understanding things differently. I read it as buildings should all give double XP. Post office, bank, snack stand, etc. mine are not.

Not working for me, either.

I wish maxed out skylanders would earn kingdom xp instead of pointless hero points.
