I was buying Skylanders figures from Toys R Us yesterday cause my dad talked his soon to be 22-year-old son into buying figures because Toys R Us had a "Buy one, get one for almost a quarter of the price" deal, so I picked up and there, because they were the only ones there that weren't in my collection. (That and they both looked cool and fun to play as.) EXCEPT... There was also a three pack there with and in it. I'm thinking of buying the pack next week after my birthday if it's still there because if I get I will have all four SSA Air Skylanders. HOWEVER... The third figure in the pack is who I already have. Granted, and are rare ones, so that's the difference maker there. But still, should I buy the pack for and despite the pack containing a guy I already have?

buy it even though you have flameslinger already or buy single pack of warnado and camo if they still have them, my local walmart have alot of single pack of warnado and camo but no triple pack.

I have the same problem. If I buy a scorpion catapult pack for $10, I don't need zap from it. Should i buy it?

I might buy it anyway next week if it's still there, but my parents also want me to buy rechargable batteries. Regardless, I should be able to swing it.

I mean Ignitor, sorry i keep getting mixed up with there name since both are fire element lol, anyway buy it before its gone.

If the deal is good enough, who cares if you get duplicates if it means getting the figure you want. The price you would be paying must be cheaper than what it would cost second-hand (eBay) or you would have went that route. I given duplicates away when I've had them.

22 Bucks for the pack.

The Warnado, Ignitor, Camo is very common at ToysRUs.

S1 L-Rod is pretty rare in the US.

S1 Prism Break is common.

Actually the and I got were S2.

I went through the same problem. (Had S2 Ignitor and saw the Camo/Warnado/Ignitor tiple). Since I wanted Camo and Warnado, knowing full well they were rare and it had been a long time since I'd seen them in singles, I went for it. I sold the S1 Ignitor to a store that buys Skylanders and don't regret buying it.

Go for it.

I bought it during SSA when I already had Camo, but i wanted 2 of him, and I didn't have the other 2, and triples were still $20.

My mom said either sell the Ignitor, or keep it as a Spare.

You could always make a custom

Guys if you find yourself buying a triple pack and already having one or two figures in the pack, sell them on eBay. Start the auction at $4.99 to $9.99 depending on the rarity.

A year ago, EVERY triple had one figure I already had, so I didn't buy them and I didn't buy them. If I would have accepted duplicates, I'd have Boomer by now, instead of hunting for it.

Especially since it's S1, BUY IT!!!!

Buy it when you have the chance--that's what I do.

On Skylander day, I'll buy a Zook/chill/Ignitor pack just for the latter.

In SSA, I saw a Wrecking Ball/Stealth Elf/Sonic Boom triple pack.
I didn't have Stealth Elf or Sonic Boom but I had Wrecking Ball.
I bought it anyway and gave the Wrecking Ball to my brother's friend.

You could then in turn sell the chill and zook you dont need on ebay for $12 w/ free shipping and recover come of the cost. I know ppl are looking for zook.

They still had it there when my parents went to Toys R Us. Now I got my first two unreposed figures, and my final SSA Air Skylander.

Mug... One thing I would/have done in your situation is you can buy the triple keep the ones you need and worst case throw the odd one on Ebay and make a few of your dollars back.
