I was thinking about getting a lightcore. Which one do you reccomend me get?

i would get all 8 lightcores so you'll have a complete set but if you can only get one, i would go with LC smilie

Yeah... The light effects on all of them seem pretty minimal, like less than they could be, less than they should be, but on Pop Fizz it works. Only his bottle glows, and it's a cool effect.

I dont have to get just one but i just dont want to waste my money on all eight lightcores.

Thats like saying you wasted your money on skylanders, for me i got all 8 lightcores since theres 8 of them so i decided to complete them. The only reason why i got the lightcores instead of there S2 is the light effects but i wouldn't say i wasted my money on it. Wasting money example: game called Yoville on the computer, you pay real money just to make your avatar looking character looks cool by buying him/her some clothes, new hairs, accesorries, houses, cars etc. For Skylanders if you don't play it anymore, you can display it as your collections and it does look nice.

Pop Fizz is nice. Shroomboom is actually good, too.

If you want the brightest lights, get Prism Break.

Prism Break's is definitely my favorite. Honorable Mentions to Shroomboom, Pop Fizz and Hex.

DO NOT, AND I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT GET DROBOT"S LIGHTCORE!! It is just bad all round. His LightCore is in the back of his figure. Just, bad all around. Sprocket would've made a way better LightCore.

Prism Break has the best LC by a mile over the others. Drobot is a gigantic waste so definitely not him. Of the characters themselves, Legendary LC Chill is my favorite to play as.

Anyone but Drobot. Probably Prism Break, because he lights up the most. Drobot's just a waste of money. :/

Shroomboom, Pop Fizz, Jet-Vac, and Chill. The have the same power as their non LC versions but they have the LC explosion effect. While of you got the other four you would be missing the wow pow the S2's had. Plus in my opinion their light up effect it pretty good too.

Even though Drobot lights up effect isn't that great, he still playable and can defeat enemies so his not totally waste of money.

Save your money for the Swap Force Lightcores, either (my favorite) Grim Creeper (who looks like he'll make full use of the LC hardware) or Starstrike.

Agreed with above recommendations. Amazon is selling eruptor, drobot and prism break for $6.00 and shroom boom was $8 not that long ago. I'm sure retail stores will try to move their stocks for SF. The only LC I purchased at full price was Prism when it was released. Of the 7 released, Prism looks the best.

Prism Break's actually looks real though. Eruptor's just doesn't. Sunburn would've made a WAY better Lightcore. ._.
