How do I make my wii portal sync to my iPad?

connect it, depens on with portal u have, connected with plug or calbe...........i have no i pad myself !

You can't. The only portal that will sync with the iPad is the bluetooth one offered in the Battlegrounds starter pack for iOS. If you haven't bought Battlegrounds, you won't be able to connect a portal to your iPad.

Each system has its own portal, this is just saying that this includes iOS systems. Not so stupid. Each portal is designed to work in its system. And they're rather crippled by not having USB ports. smilie

But when skylanders universe was up I could connect my wii portal to my laptop and why the heck is there a sync button in my portal?

I thought it was where the batteries are or is it like the ds where you press down on the top of the portal

I think I saw something about this.

If for some odd reason, the wireless portal isn't synced with the USB receiver you plug into your system, you can do a force sync with that button.

I played Skylanders on my nephews' Wii a few weekends ago, and I had to press the sync button on the portal many times. And that's the way it always works with wireless things, the sync buttons are there are to force a connection when it isn't finding one itself.

When Skylanders Universe was online, you could use the portal as it was designed for PC and console. The iOS version of the game does not support any other portal but the Battlegrounds portal.
