One of Orvilles tips was something about linking Skylanders!Explanation?

I think it means loading them into the game with the portal. I don't know for sure because I have all of them, but it would seem they put level requirements on some/all of the skylanders...? Maybe. I don't know for sure, so if someone actually knows, please verify or correct me.

Yes I was trying to work this out! I think Lash is right, that some Skylanders must be locked until you reach certain levels, but if you have the actual figure (or web code) you can bypass the level requirement. I can't verify this in my game as I've already unlocked them all

I was hoping someone would shed some light on this subject, too. I didn't know there was a level requirement for certain Skylanders, as I never saw it. Though I never went to purchase any, either. The only one I actually purchased was Ghost Roaster (because I doubted I would ever get him) and he was on sale (although he was much cheaper less than a week later )
