Like The Darkness Of Malefor: A New Age this is a spin-off of my Legend Of Spyro Fanfic series. For thoes of you who are concered, I will still be writing my other two fanfics (SO MUCH WORK!) whist writing this.

This is just a Character Bio, however I am writing the first chapter as we speek.

Cynder: Obviously, Cynder is a black Dragon who was stolen by Malefor's forces when she was just an egg.

Polyxena: Polyxena is Cynder's mother. She lives in the temple whith the guardians and Ash, her siblings left the temple but gave the temple the eggs to look after. When she herself layed eggs there were two of them. One black one purple.

Ash: Ash is Cynder's father.

Theron: Also known as the 'Assasin' from TEN. Theron is the head prison guard. He looks after the Dreadwings that guard the cells.

The Dark Master: Once Known as Malefor but after he was corruped by Convexity's darkness changed his name to The Dark Master (Suggested by Convexity himsels)

Chapter 1: Year Of The Dragon

Ignitus looked down at the small purple egg that lay in a golden nest on a podium. Ash walked through the door and sighed. Ash was a large dark red Dragon who harnesed the element of fire which Ignitus taught him when he was younger. "Are you still worried?" Ash asked. Ignitus turned around and looked to him. He sighed and nodded. "There is no need Ignitus. You have done your best to teach us and that is the best that anyone can offer." Ash said. Ignitus sighed and looked at him with worry. "But is that good enough to stop the forces of evil? Will that stop a whole army?" He said. Ash sighed and looked at the golden nest that the purple egg lay in. "What ever happens you need to look after the eggs." Ash said smiling. He walked out of the room into the sleeping chamber. Ignitus looked around the room at the many eggs.

The room was full with the many colours of the eggs. There were red, green, yellow, blue, golden, bronze and in a nest on its own a single back egg. He walked up to it. He remembered the argument that Ash and Ignitus had long ago. Ash insisted that the black egg would go with its sibling, the purple egg, but the four guardians insisted that the purple egg must be on its own. This didn't please Ash or Polyxena. Ignitus turned around and walked up to the purple egg. Suddenly the ground began to rumble. Ignitus looked around the room as Voltter walked thorugh the door. "Save them! The dark armys have come!" He yelled. Ignitus looked around the room, he only had time to save one of the them so he picked up the purple egg that lay infront of him and ran into the sleeping chamber. "Ash, Polyxena run!" He yelled. The two of them looked at him confused. He ran out of the sleeping chamber leaving the temple carrying the purple egg.

Polyxena and Ash got up from the floor. "Ignitus! What are you doing!" Polyxena yelled. Polyxena was a large black Dragon. She like ash breathed fire. The ground rumbled below there feet. Polyxena began to cry. "Ignitus! Come back!" Ash yelled. Polyxena ran after Ignitus. "No! Im not losing you to!" Ash yelled. He ran after Polyxena and grabbed hold of her. He looked into her eyes but as he did they could hear voices from the outside. "There's someone in here!" A deep voice yelled. The door began to ruble as small cracks formed in the wood. Splinters flew from the wooden door. The door broke open as a large ape walked through the door. Gaul's glowing green eye looked at the two of them. He bellowed and pointed his large staff at them. A beam of green light shot from the end and froze the two of them.

Chapter 2: The Black Fortress

Gaul stood infront of a purple beam of light comming from the talest tower in the Concurrent Skies. "My master, as you prommised a Dragon egg." Gaul said holding a purple egg infront of the purple beam of light. Two green eyes glowed in the beam of light. "Finaly, you have served me well Gaul. At least you could keep the other apes from smashing all the eggs this time." The Dark Master said. A nest lay infront of the light. Gaul placed it in the small nest. "A life of darkness can be seen for you." The Dark Master whispered. Gaul stood with his hands behind his back. The Dark Master bellowed. "Gaul, open it." He said. Gaul nodded and picked up the egg. He grabbed hold of the top of the egg and carved a crack around it. He pulled the top of the shell open and looked into the egg. A small hatchling lay at the bottom of the egg. Its eyes were closed as it curled up in the egg.

Gaul picked up the small hatchling by it's tail and threw the shell to the floor. The hatchling opened its eyes and looked at Gaul. He looked at it with anger. "Why do you need this welpling?" Gaul asked. The Dark Master's eyes looked at Gaul in anger. "Be carefull what you say Gaul, this 'welpling' may one day be your master." The Dark Master said. Gaul looked at it with anger. He looked at it's head. It had six small spikes comming from the top of its head. "I beleave, master, that this is a female Dragon." Gaul said. The Dark Masters eyes yet again looked angry at Gaul. "You! I spesificly said no females!" He yelled. Gaul looked at her angrly. Gaul looked curiosuly still holding the small Dragon in his hand. He turned around and threw her onto the wall. She fell to the floor and looked at her as she lay helplessly.

The Dark Master looked angrly at Gaul. "What are you doing! Female or not she will still become your master." The Dark Master said. Gaul turned his head and then walked up to the small hatchling. He picked it up and looked at her. She opened her eyes slightly. "She's still alive." Gaul said. The Dark Master still looked at him angrly. "Gaul, as of tomorow you will go to the Dojo and teach this Dragon how to fight." He said. Gaul nodded. He looked confused. "But master, what about a name?" Gaul asked. Gaul walked up to the purple beam. "A fine warrior deserves a fine name. As a black Dragon she will have fire. Cynder." The Dark Master said. Gaul nodded and left the room. He walked through a series of chambers that lead to the cells. A Small ape guarded the entrace to the cells. "Theron, this is Cynder. She needs a cell." Gaul said. Theron nodded as Gaul put Cynder on the floor. Theron got out a collar and attached it to Cynder's neck. He dragged her to an empty cell as she cryed in pain.

Chapter 3: A Dark Cell

Theron dragged Cynder into her cell. A chain hung from the wall. Theron attached the chain to Cynder's collar. Cynder sat on the floor confused and tierd. Theron locked the cell door behind him as he walked out. "Go to sleep!" He yelled. He walked away from her cell, back to the entrance to the prison. Cynder didn't understand where she was. She looked around at the large black room confused. She saw nothing in the room, the only light came through the bars on the door. She looked through them at the other cells on the other side of the prisons. Suddenly she could hear voices whispering from the other cells. She didn't understand what they were saying. "Its ok, we're safe." Said one of them. Cynder pocked her head through the bars on the gate. She could see the figure of two large Dragons in a cell infront of her.

One of them looked at her curiously. "Polyxena, look at this." The Dragon said pointing at Cynder. Cynder looked at the Dragon worridly. A head looked at her from the shadow in side the cell. "It! It looks just like me." Polyxena said. Cynder ran away into the corner of the room. She was scared in a world that she didn't understand. She looked around the room in worry. She heard crying from the other cell. "Our own child and she's scared of us?" One of them said. Cynder walked up to the gate slowly. She looked at the cell on the other side in worry. One of the Dragons was comforting the other as they cryed. Cynder looked through the bars worridly. The two Dragons looked at Cynder. One of them smilied and reached out through the bars for Cynder. Cynder walked away from the gate yet again in worry.

Chapter 4: The Black Terror

Cynder was woken the next day by Theron. "Gaul wishes to meet with you!" He yelled. He walked up to Cynder, unlocked the chain attached to her collar and dragged her by her tail. Gaul stood waiting at the entrace to the cells looking at Theron with anger. "Don't do that next time!" Gaul yelled. Theron looked at him confsused. "Your about to tourture her, why is there any difference?" Theron asked. Gaul grabbed hold on Cynder. "By tourture I don't mean physically." He yelled. Gaul carried Cynder untill they reached the Dojo. In the centre of the room was a small hole with two chains hanging from the ceiling. Gail attached the chains to Cynder's two from legs as she hung from the ceiling. As she did a purple beam of light appeared from the hole. Gaul walked up to her. "Cynder, can you feel it? The shadow within?" Gaul said.

Cynder tryed to pull herslef free, she was still confused. She swung from the purple beam trying to get free. Gaul looked at her angrly. He grabbed two chains attached to the ground and attached them onto her back legs. She couldn't move, she felt a pain in her legs. "How does it feel? The shadow? The darkness, your masters everlasting shadow? You will free him Cynder, that is what you are here for your destiny." Gaul said. Cynder tryed to brake free from the chains. Gaul looked at her angrly. Gaul reached behind him for one of his swards. He braught it up to Cynder's neck. "Don't try to escape." He said holding it up to her neck. She shivered in fear. Gaul threw his sward to the floor. He could imagain what the Dark Master would say to him if he saw what he was doing to Cynder. Cynder looked at Gaul worridly.

Cool story bioncle2809! I feel sorry for Cynder.... I know what is going to happend next. She will be Dark Cynder.

Sorry I havn't been writing much, I've been writing stuff for my other two Fanfics so here is a description of the next chapte when it comes. It is set three years after the last chapter. Cynder is now how she is in TEN still tourtured every day but still not fallen to the darkness. She finaly meets the ultimate dark rule! And also she can finaly talk . Also it is Cynders dream. Soz for the long wait.

Chapter 5: Dream Of Shadow

Cynder tossed and tunred lying down on the cold stone floor of her cell. She felt the steel chain as it helf tight of her neck. She asked for a bigger one but Gaul simply said it was part of the plan and that she'd get used to it. She never did after three years of having it chained to her. She still followed the same routine everyday. She got woken up, sent to Gaul and then sent back to the cell at night. She often looked out of a small hole in the cell with bars covering it and wondered what was behind thoes bars. A world that she had never seen in her life. But now it was night time and Cynder lay asleep in her dark cell. 'Cynder...' She heard a voice whisper in her sleep. 'I know where you are...' The voice said again. Cynder felt worried, even in her dream she feared what it was talking to her.

'Even my shadow can not hide your fear, Cynder...' The voice continued. There was a long silence as a picture of a large dragon in chanes hung against a wall motionless. 'Cynder... Do you know who this is?' The voice echoed. Cynder got even more worried with every word she heard. She dare not say a word. 'Cynder... You can't controll it. Im here, in your mind and nothing can make me leave. You must give yourself. All these years you've been wondering what you've done wronge. Why Gaul keeps punishing you?' The voice continued in a sly tone. There was a long silence as Cynder began to think of thoes moments. 'Its because you do not relax. When Gaul calls you tomorow morning you will relax and you will not be punished.' Cynder didn't trust what she was hearing, but it was her only choise.

, soz. I've been busy all weekend. On saturday I had to go to a wedding and today I was so angry it Spyro2008 that I wasn't going to go on all day,but I just came on to cheak things.

Chapter 6: Doomsday

Cynder was woken up by the sound of Theron's large metal boots. She opened her eyes as he unlocked the entrance to the cell. "Cynder! Gaul wants you." He yelled. Cynder rolled her eyes and sat up from the ground. "I get the idea, he wants me every day!" She yelled in anger. Theron tryed to hide the want to drag Cynder by her neck like he did when she was younger, but the DarkMaster had insisted that she was not harmed. Cynder was now taller than she used to be, her tail was longer and her neck had been squeezed by the rusy metal chain. She sighed and walked into the corrdior as she looked at the other creatures in the cells. She still saw the two Dragons in the cell oposite her. If she felt lonly they would ask as a voice to comfort her, but it was still a mystery to her who they were.

Theron unlocked the chain from Cynders neck and gave her to Gaul. She sighed as Gaul lifted her to the two chains hanging from above her and locked them to her from legs. Over the years Cynder had used her large tail a whip to attack Gaul so her came prepared and attached a chain to her tail as well as her two back legs. She sighed and looked down at the floor. She suddenly remembered what the voice had to said to her in her dream the night before. "'Relax...'" Cynder whispered to herslef. Gaul looked at her with anger. "No messing around today Cynder, your master wouldn't be to pleased if you did..." Gaul said as Cynder began to shiver in fear. Gaul pointed his large green staff at Cynder. She sighed as a beam of light began to shoot from the tip of the green diamond to her sacles. She felt a dark shadow suround her as. She knew what the voice said but it felt wrong, it felt like she shouldn't turn to the darkness but she had no choice.

Chapter 7: The Black Shadow

Gaul walked up to Cynder as she hung above the purple beam. He took off he chains and placed her on the ground. "Very good Cynder, you are improving. Your master will be pleased." He said. Cynder felt confused. She would normaly feel the pain of being thrown half way across the room by now but Gaul simply atached the chain to he neck and walked her back to the cells. For the first time than she can remember she actualy felt happy, she no longer felt the pain and suffering and she didn't want to anymore. "Now, Theron, Cynder has done a good job. Bring her out of her cell when I come back later." Gaul said. Theron nodded and took hold on Cynder's chain. He walked him along the corridor and to her cell. He locked it up and left her in her cell. She sighed and looked out of the metal rusting bars. But as she touched them she felt a shock in her hand.

She let go in fear and as she did she could hear a voice in the back of her head. 'Good work Cynder... You have done well today...' It said to her. She felt nervious as that feeling of happyness faded away. She hid in the corner of her cell untill Theron returned for her. "Your master would like to see you." He said to her. Cynder slowly walked up to the gate as Theron locked her collar around her neck and pulled her along the corridor. Gaul was waiting at the entrace and took hold of Cynder's chains and pulled her along the floor. She was tierd and it had been a long day for her and she didn't want to do anything else. Gaul stopped her in a block room infront of a large archway. Two eyes glaired down at her from the purple light in the archway. She could bairly open her eyes to see them. "Well done Cynder... You have done well today..." A voice whispered to her.
