Long time no post. I have a dilema. Has anyone seen chaosworrier lately?

Well, not only am i having no luck with PMs, I am also not having any luck with email. It is as if he has dropped off the face of the earth.

The items in question are of some real value. I am caught in a real quandry. If I sell them, I stand to make some mad fat cash. If they are sold, and he does come back, I couldn't afford to purchase them back. As of right now, they are in the attic collecting dust.

He isn't responding. It's not your problem, and it's not like you haven't tried contacting him. I would give him a drop dead date to claim them, and then sell them. You deserve the profits if that's the way it turns out.

Use every method of communication that the Buyer has ever provided you with (phone, text, email, PM, smoke signals, etc.) and issue a very plain, simple notice by every one of those methods of communication. Something to the effect of: "I have tried repeatedly to contact you by multiple methods of communication, with no reply over the past XX months. Please contact me within the next 14 days so that we can make arrangements to complete our transaction. If I do not receive communication from you by (insert date here), I will consider our previous agreement null and void, due to discontinuation of communication on your end."

That sucks that someone left you hanging like that. Hopefully nothing really seriously bad happened to him (sadly, that's a possibility).

I agree. You've done your due diligence. You tried and tried, you even posted this thread asking people to help you find him. If he comes back, it's his own fault for falling off the face of the earth. If you REALLY want to cover your... yourself, send a final message with "If I don't hear back from you by July 1st, I'll have to consider these figures available to sell" (or pick a date you like better).

If you've made every possible arrangement and you can document you did everything reasonable to conclude the transaction it's easy to move on in my eyes if he doesn't respond. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Now, if he's partially paid etc. then I think you should send the money back and have it documented so there's no question.

I have made contact with him. Looks like these things are going to make their way to australia.

Oh hey, congrats! I know the discomfort of not being able to achieve contact with someone. Had it just last weekend when trying to pick someone up. I also know the relief of finally reaching them, LOL!
