My fiance and I moved in with his family across the country to Alberta, to save money. and ever since I brought my 100+ Skylanders into the house, his older brother has spent almost $200 on figures. He already had most of series 1. But I've been playing giants with him. So now he's in the mood to buy them again. He hasnt bought any in over a year. He spent $100 the other day on series 1 figures at walmart.

So who have you influenced to buy this game, or figures?

My friend influence me to try out skylanders so i thought about it for weeks, then decided to try it out, thats when i was hook to it that i want to get all S2, The Giants, Variants, Legendaries and Lightcores.

No one...it would be called "spreading the disease"...

My friend last year...I heard about the game, but I decided to get it last year and am still collecting.

The kids I talk to through work eventually convinced me to break down and buy the game.

I made the mistake of buying the game with some money I got over the holidays. Here I am, over $100 later...

I bought it for my friend for his birthday, and now we are two crazy adults, addicted to a video game with toy compatibility.

I saw Spyro on the T.V. advert.I was hooked.

An advertisement I saw while FusionFall was loading back in 2011/2012, before I had adblock plus. That interested me in it. When i came back to the US, I saw it at a friend's house and asked a bit, then, when I saw it on sale for $50 at gamestop, I bought it.

In my area when SSA came out two years ago no one really thought much of it, until when someone got it for Christmas then their friend saw it, then it just turned into a domino effect!

I knew about it during spyro adventure but never really looked at it, then last holidady season my son kept asking for giants and i kept saying no. His aunt needed one last gift for him for xmas so i said he wanted skylander game. So he got it for xmas, we started playing it on the 26th and now months later I have 2 of each char, all the triples from spyros (plus single whamshell) and he, my wife and brother each have a set of giants figures and the lost 8. Fun stuff!

I basically infected myself... Last year my nephews were passionate to get SSA for their birthday at the beginning of May. One asked for Flameslinger, one asked for Stealth Elf. Stealth Elf was UNFINDABLE! Researching them, hunting them, I decided I liked Stealth Elf, and that I wanted to try this out in order to share it with them. Now it's over a year later. (ONLY a year? Wow, feels longer)

I've influenced my best friend though she refused to buy them for herself nor play the game- she's addicted to buying them for me- for whatever reason- she likes the thrill of the hunt but not for herself, its really odd
