ok we all know when we play this game we will be o it for over 2 hours at a go BUT dose the xbox 360 over heat to much?

that would be a shame if every hour we would have to stop then go back on it like a hour later?

someone tell me because im geting one for my brithday !

Prop it in a well-ventilated place and you'll be fine. You can also grab a fan and prop it next to it.

People treat these things like game consoles. They throw it in a corner and stack drinks on it and cry when the console seizes. Treat it like a computer and it won't blow on you.

(Also, the newer revisions have much better cooling systems according to Engadget.)

Ive played mine for long stretches before and it hasn't had a problem. Since it has it's own fan you can feel how hot the air is coming out, so check that if your worried. But mines been pretty warm and had a bunch of kittens snuggled against it and no problems yet. Just be careful not to bump it while your playing, i've had a few games pop out of the track before and it does not sound pretty.

i got a gamecube and play for 3 hours or more and it doesnt over heat so a 360 wont over heat affter 3 or 4 hours


(i got a resistant gamecube)

before mine died, i used to play it sometimes for 8-9 hours straight and it never over heated. but i stood it up and thas when it died. luckily microsoft is gonne fix it for FREE

I have one and I don't have a problem with it. But it has to stay out in an open area so it does'nt but like I said no problem with it over heating even if I played for hours.
