When I get SSF, I will have 4 s. I will keep my and but I can't decide which I'll get rid of when the time comes. Should I keep s1 ? Or Ninja ?

I'll get rid of s1

Keep the most recent ones, if you want good in-game powers, but keep the oldest ones if you want to collect and sell.

About paint S1

I've got four Stealth Elfs right now and I'm keeping them all. :) I like the reposed figures. :)

Ok. Maybe I'll do a custom for s1.... but I'm still thinking about it

I got 3 stealths, but I made my s2 reg scarlet stealth elf

You can put her on one path, LSE on the other, and Ninja Stealth Elf on the better one.
Whisper Elf shouldn't even be in the discussion.

Seeing as how Stealth Elf and Chop Chop are my favorite, I intend to get and keep one of each series/variant not counting chases.

If you like Stealth Elf, keep them all, otherwise, if you feel you need to sell one, keep the most recent one for sure.

lol I wasnt going to buy any of the reposed figures when giants first came out. but when i ran out of new guys to buy, i started buying series 2. so i think im only missing s2 zook, s2 slam bam, s2 drobot, s2 ignitor and LC hex. My point is, keep all the different poses/variations. and whisper elf hardly counts

Keep them all. Put :legendarystealthelf: on one path, on the other. The S2 for the wow pow. The ninja for (very likely) special Swap Force powers. Also, for collection. And Whisper Elf doesn't count, you can't play as her.

I don't understand the desire to paint figures, mainly because the figures would show up as normal on screen. But I think Activision could cater to this crowd by producing non-playable (i.e. no RFID chip) figures that are unpainted. They would, in theory, cost much less than a regular fig, maybe half price? And people could buy them with the sole intention of painting them, knowing that they will be display pieces.

Himewad: I MOSTLY agree with you, but a painted figure which can do double duty as a playable figure seems like less of a waste of space & money than a display-only figure. After all, if you custom paint a Stealth Elf, one which can play as normal Stealth Elf is better than one which can't play at all, right?

But what you said is the main reason I haven't tried painting any, I have two S1 Cynders so I may reconsider.

In a way they did. Chinese sites sell (prototype?) figures, normally lacking working RFIDs and sometimes the colored base. They cost anywhere from $1-5.

But they aren't in stores. You can order pretty much anything online if you look hard enough. Seems to me that hobby stores would want to stock blank shell Skylander figures if the price was right.

I actually HAVE to. My mom said that if I want SSF I have to get rid of some figs.

Since the Sidekicks do nothing, their only true use is for if you're collecting everything. If your mom is making you get rid of some figures, you obviously can't consider collecting, so I would get rid of some Sidekicks. Since they all do roughly the same thing, you can keep one for when you feel like being followed, but feel free to get rid of the rest. Luckily their rarity should make them easy to sell.

But in the end it depends if your mom gets specific, if SHE counts Whisper Elf as a Stealth Elf and she specifically declares you have too many Stealth Elves. THEN get rid of Whisper Elf, easy. Your Stealth Elves have much more value as playable characters, they should rank higher than Whisper Elf.

I had double Whirlwinds and a Polar Whirlwind. Extra Whirlwind came in a 3 pack. Took it to the store and gave it to a young child that was with their parent. They were very happy.
