I wouldn't hold out too much hope seeing her for awhile. Target has one of the the least accurate websites. I am pretty sure that she uses the same SKU number (or whatever target calls it) as the other lightcores.

Gives me an error that tells me there aren't any stores near me.. And yet I'm only 5 miles away from one..

She has her own. It ends with 1150, which is different from the other lightcores.

I see that now. If you look father down on her page it says her release date is 10/13/2013. I can almost guarantee you that she is not in stores and will not be for awhile.

From the looks of it, the one from Amazon.de is from a third party seller.

It would be 11,99 EUR if it were from Amazon itself, and thus able to be shipped to the US.

i tried to order the LC from amazon.de, it let you see your grand total before doing the final purchase so my grand total was $48 lol so i canceled it before doing the final purchase , just wanted to see how much all together when converted to canadian.

I'm tired of being "toyed" around with these final guys. I may just not buy them out of protest.

Well to be honest he said mid june we would see lightcore hex. His info is partly right, we see her but as a preorder bonus, not a release.

Yeah, Lesty already said he goofed and assumed that LC Hex would be given out at the time of the pre-order.

It happens. Sometimes, you get info early and you have to fill in some of the blanks yourself (Like when I said June would be huge... but found out September is really the interesting month and June was just the tip).

I'm still perplexed about the marketing strategy behind this. If they just release lightcore hex in June, and instead offer a series 3 character for free when you preorder, they would get a massive amount of preorders and generate a lot of buzz. Who is going to care about using lightcore hex when swap force comes out? Surely people will be far more interested in the swap force characters, the new non-swappable skylanders and even they series 3 reposed figures.

^True. It basically forces you to buy Swap Force to get Lightcore Hex to complete your collection. :/

I think it is a gamble for them to do this. Either you are going to push people to buy swap force or you are going to push people away from buying it, because you are coming across as trying to force people to buy something to get something for an old game....

Also, they are gambling on putting two different sets of characters in the starter packs. I get why they are doing it. To make people buy the 3DS packs to get the volcanic eruptor and the two new swap force guys. However, it may be too much for people to handle. You are looking at 150 bucks for people to drop into the game to get one starter pack and in MOST cases three characters.

Even if they release the two guys from the 3DS pack as singles at launch, which I find VERY unlikely, you are going to have people like me who want Volcanic Eruptor and will have to either wait until black friday to get the starter pack on the cheap or buy it from someone. Anyways, it is a gamble and we will see how it plays out.

I managed to get the 3DS starter for Giants for $25 a couple weeks ago wh n TRU had that 50% off sale plus the McDonald's happy meal coupon.

I will very happy if you do actually get different characters in the 3DS starter pack, it makes it a lot easier to drop the money on the 3DS version as well as console version.

I thought that it was already a given that the characters in the 3ds pack were different than the main pack---?

@ uncle Bob---when giants was pre-sold were the photos in the ad different than what was actually sold in the starter packs?

I am happy that they made the 3ds starter pack different. I had to buy a 3ds starter pack for just Dark Spyro and I had to buy a 3ds starter pack just for Punch Pop Fizz. I do not own a 3ds. I will be buying a 3ds starter pack for Volcanic Eruptor but at least this time I get 2 swap force figures with it as well.

wgeorge - at least with the 3DS version of SSA, you got three new figures (depending on what you had already bought on the side). The way the 3DS version was handled with Giants was lame.

Thrilled to see that the the 3DS version of Swap Force is going to have three new figures.

The only issue I saw with the SSA pack-ins, was if you only had the 3DS version, you were SOL on getting the console starters, unless you either bought a version you didn't need *or* bought them used.

UncleBob: It's the same the other way around, though. I have no 3DS, so I've never been able to get Dark Spyro (no, eBay doesn't count, second-hand doesn't count, I'm only talking retail. Stores and Amazon). And to get Punch Pop Fizz I had to buy the 3DS Giants starter, "a version I didn't need", to use your words. Again, he's not available otherwise, as far as I know. For Giants, at least 3DS users get the same Cynder in their Starter Pack and can at least get Lightcore Jet-Vac, who is like an improvement on Jet-Vac (since he lights up and gets the entrance pow). Punch Pop Fizz and Dark Spyro, as variants, seem more separate than Lightcores, really, like more individual characters...

I'm babbling now, I should stop.

I bought a Punch Pop Fizz on eBay for $19.99 shipped just a week ago. I found it when I did a search for Red Pop Fizz. The person had spelled punch, "puch" so it had like no views. I have got lots of things cheaper that way because people can't spell. I am hoping in my hunt to get Gnarly for $30 or less total I will find someone who just puts Blue or Narly.

I LOVE it! It's like punishment for bad and sloppy spelling. Who knows how much they would have gotten if the had spelled things correctly. THIS is the reason I like to leave words out of searches, keep my search terms to a minimum to minimize how much I have to worry about them misspelling things.
