Here are some alternate forms for Cyan that I made.
Garnet Cyan, Aquamarine Cyan, and Jade Cyan(Jade Cyan has been scrapped and Aquamarine Cyan and Garnet Cyan are now known as the Positive versions of those forms)

I named my Username after their species. They are Underians. They have a lifespand of 55 Human years or 18 Underian Years, they each have elusive traits passed to descendants, and colored stripes on there upper head, arms, hands, legs, and feet. Certain Underians can absorb powers from certains gemstones(As shown above with Garnet Cyan, Aquamarine Cyan, and Jade Cyan). And yeah thats basically it!

My username also comes from a creature I made, but only part of the name.

Yeah I am! But not for a while, most of the characters still need more backstory development. Notice I bolded more! I have small sums of backstory for most of them(except Cyan) and Im trying to make them longer.

Wow, already we have a lot in common! My characters have most of their back story, but it's mostly the story itself that needs developing. Not to mention the countless alien worlds with their ecosystems...

I would tell the full name, but I'm paranoid and fear that my work would be stolen. When it has its copyrights, or when I feel safer about it, I'll tell about it.

Nice to know we have a lot in common, and I can understand about not telling the full name of the species. Alien Worlds sound cool, well most of my OCs live on the Jewel Island since I haven't made anymore places on their planet.

Oh cool. Lucky you have a printer scanner thing. My siblings broke the only printer in the house. So I just take pictures of my art and post them. Though it's hard to get a good picture with a DSi. Best of luck.
