Dino-Rang PS3 exp glitch? [CLOSED]

When I upgraded to Volcanic Glass Boomerangs, then used their regular attack (x button), no exp spheres showed up after defeating enemies.
However, they would usually (but not always, so I'm losing exp) fly in from off-screen up to 10 seconds later. Has anyone else had this issue on the PS3?

Happens to me on the Wii. He randomly get XP every 15 seconds

It's happened to me before, he gets his exp just..... belatedly, (PS3, by the way), no idea why!

I played a character the other day and I was getting random XP coming out of the ether...need to do more research here. I happen to be on PS3 as well.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

I defeated the enemies not Xp came out but them Xp came flying out of nowhere.

I don't have Dino-Rang, but my nephews do... I feel like I remember that one upgrade lets your boomerangs collect XP for you, no? So maybe the killing boomerang is also automatically collecting the XP for you?

Try playing 2 player, no matter WHO gets the kill, the XP is shared equally anyway (I guess this is to stop greedy players from hogging all the kills and so getting all the XP). Do you see the XP spheres if you play 2 player?

I don't think that's the case. I don't know about anyone else's but if I'm right on the verge of leveling up, he doesn't level up until those xp points eventually catch up to him from the enemies he defeated a couple frames back!

solution: level up to the max and then get that upgrade
