Bryan nodded. "I wonder who it was though."

Micky stumbled over fallen branches and tree roots as she ran deeper into the forest. "I'm not being pursued, but it's best to set a distance." She thought. "Good thing I abandoned the backpack, it would've slowed me down. But it did have absolutely everything I needed, or owned..."

"Want me to get Delgato to pursue them? He'd catch the person in a second." suggested Alyx.

"Naw, it's not worth it. Lets just move on. But first, lets check this out." Bryan said, walking towards the backpack.

OOC: I'm yelling momentai at my dog because she won't stop barking. :3

Alyx nodded and followed Bryan to the backpack.

Bryan stepped forward and picked up the backpack. He was very surprised to see how heavy it was. "Geeze, no wonder it was abandoned." He carried the heavy backpack, and set it in the grass, away from the tree. He carefully unzipped it, and looked inside, to see a large supply of food, as well as a bottle of water and some rope, and matches for a fire. "Wow, this person was very well prepared."

Alyx looked at the contents.
"It was a loner.

"Likely. Kinda makes me curious, though. How did the person get these stuff?" Bryan said.

"She stole it most likely." said Alyx.

"We'll now it's ours. Its a little crime circle!" Bryan said with a laugh.

Alyx smiled and laughed.

Miles walked back to the group, seeing Alyx and Bryan.

Delgato walked beside Miles.

"So, what happened?" Bryan asked Miles.

"He went exploring." Said Delgato.

"I was getting worried!" Said Alyx.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Guess I got a bit caught up in my exploring." Miles said. I need to go back there whn everyone is asleep. There's something about that place.

Alyx ran and gave Miles a huge hug before running back to Delgato's side again.
"Don't scare me again." she said.

Miles blushed when Alyx hugged him. It made him feel guilty, because he would be leaving for that spot again tonight. "So we have an area to set up camp in?" Miles asked Bryan.

"I think Bryan chose here, and I think it's a good spot." said Delgato.

Alyx saw Miles blush, and blushed herself.

Miles inspected the area. "Looks fine to me." He said, nodding his head approvingly. He flopped down on the ground, going to take a nap.

"I can take first watch if we need someone to watch the camp." offered Alyx. Wow, I hugged him. He had me really worried though, I couldn't help hugging him, thought Alyx.

"I can take the watch, I'm not usually tired, anyway. You guys can sleep tonight." Bryan said in his usual quiet tone.

Alyx nodded.

Delgato nodded.
"Alright." he said.

"Mkay." Miles said, not being able to hide his dissapointment. If we have a watch, it will just make it harder to sneak out. Even when I'm camoflauged, I still make noise. And he might check on me to make sure I'm not gone...

Alyx turned to Miles, seeing his disappointment.
"Miles, wanna come on a walk with me?" she asked.

Miles was shocked by the question. "Uh, sure. Right now?" He said.

Alyx nodded.
"Yeah. Right now. Come on." she headed in the opposite direction, heading toward the mountains where Miles had been. She had known he had been there and wanted to bring him back there. Because he seemed happy there.

"Okay." Miles said, following Alyx. Could she be taking me back to the mountain? No it's not possible... She couldn't have known. Or does she?

Alyx took Miles to the mountain.
"This is where you were going tonight, am I right? This where you were when Delgato came looking for you, right? Thought I'd take you here because you seemed happy here." she said.

Miles looked at Alyx. "Yeah. This place does make me pretty happy... Even though I don't know why." Miles let out a soft chuckle.

Alyx smiled.
"Probably because it's pretty calming here. Also, it's got a nice view. I'd come here too. Hey, can I ask you something?" she asked, turning to face him with her blue eyes.

"Sure. I'm open to questions." MIles said, looking at Alyx.

"Why do you not think your power is good?" asked Alyx. "and, why do you leave frequently? I worry that at some point you won't come back and-" Alyx paused and blushed, "i don't want to lose you." she finished.

Miles looked downward. His face was extremely red. "Well, my power it's just not... all that great I guess. And I'll try not to leave anymore." Miles said, smiling at Alyx.

Alyx saw that Miles face was extremely red. Her cheeks grew redder and she smiled.
"I think your power is great." she said shyly.

"Yours is better- Both of them are." Miles said, shoving the hair from his eyes.

"Both? You mean Delgato's? Ha. I just set a tree in front of him and he's out. It's quite entertaining." said Alyx with a smile. She moved a bit of hair from in front of Miles' eye and smiled shyly. "You had hair in front of your eye. It bothered me." she said, blushing.

"Know I mean both of yours. You have telekinesis and can find crystals right?" Miles grinned, still blushing.

"Yeah. It was pretty handy for the Forest Tribe. But I still think camo is pretty cool." said Alyx with a smile. She realized she was holding Miles' hand and was soon red faced.

"Yeah. I guess camo is okay." Miles said, fumbling with his hair.

Alyx kicked a rock and then levitated it. She felt the presence of a jewel. She dug until she found an opal, it shone brightly in the sunlight. Alyx offered it to Miles shyly.

Miles accepted it, smiling. He put it in his pocket. "Thank you." he whispered.

"Your welcome." said Alyx with a smile. her hands hurt from the digging, but she didn't care. She wanted to make Miles happy.

OOC: are we at the top of the mountain right now?

OOC: Yep.

OOC: okay.

Miles, without thinking, walked over to the ledge where he had been earlier. He dangled his feet over it, just like before.

Alyx walked and sat down beside Miles.
"Whoa." She said nervously, looking down.

Miles laughed. "Don't worry. You won't fall."

Alyx smiled.
"I sure hope not, but if I do, you have to catch me." she said.

OOC: Alright bye.
"Don't worry, I will." Miles promised.

OOC: bye!

Alyx smiled, feeling reassured.
