"Ssssh! They'll hear us!" Joell whispered. He cautiously picked it up.
"They could kill us. We should go on our own." he told Joanne. She nodded in agreement. The two dug a hole for shelter. Joell discovered a mechanism, and he used it as a trap for other tributes. They took out the contents and put them in the backpack.

Joell went hunting for animals. He left Joanne with many swords. After a while he got back with a large rabbit, along with a plump red fox. The two skinned the animals, ate part of the rabbit, and saved the meat and skin for later.
