Since Dark Spyro is the only known variant Skylander to have a story role apart from the other counterparts, how do you think the variants came to be from their normal counterparts? Like how Flashwing became Jade Flashwing, or Hot Dog becoming Molten Hot Dog, Tree Rex to Gnarly Tree Rex, etc.

I think that Hot Dog was near a volcano, it erupted and he tripped in some of the molten, thus making him MOLTEN Hot Dog.
