TBH I'm rather sick of Pokemon now. It's getting tiring and it's almost the same game each time.

Generation five did take some getting used to for me, but once I got used to them I liked a good amount of them. I can't remember a good amount of them and there are still a few I don't like, but yeah.

And yeah, I like Generation 6 so far. Sylveon's design took a bit of getting used to, as well as Froakie, and I don't care for the Panda, but other than that I like them. Gogoat is a cool idea, but I do hope they'll let you ride other Pokemon too, like Ponyta and Rapidash.

EDIT: Ninja'd x2. stop doing that sdfigduhteh

well of course

so is every other game series on this earth

what do you expect... spyro is practically the same thing: classics where, the legends where, and now skylanders is still pretty much the same.

Just be happy that the new 3-d crap is cool...well it's cool to me.

Pokemon never needed to "get their act up", they are doing just fine in my eyes....
(Except for the whole "Team Rocket being too serious though... ._.)

I think the difference is that each generation of Spyro games had their games a year apart (1998-2000, 2006-2008, 2011-), whereas the main series of Pokemon have had a few games spread out between over a decade. Insomniac, Krome (ignoring DotD), and Toys For Bob all only had a few months to create their games, whereas Game Freak has considerably longer time. There was a 4 year gap between Gen IV and V, but the gameplay remained relatively unchanged. I just expect more nowadays, especially considering the praise that it gets.

It's not necessarily that I've outgrown Pokemon, like many people say to those that begin to dislike the games (I don't even really hate them). It's just gotten boring and stale. Even CoD is moving at a faster pace than this series (at least on Treyarch's end).
