They broke the pattern, and now I'm flummoxed. I've been playing this game for about six weeks now, and I'd figured out a pattern, such that a couple days into a new cycle, I can figure out pretty accurately what the element of the day will be for the rest of the week. This was obviously more useful before Hugo came along, but it's still disturbing to me that today, or should I say tomorrow, they broke the pattern. Every cycle the pattern changed, but they ALWAYS did all eight elements before starting over. Tomorrow will be Fire after it was Fire on Saturday. No biggie. They do that all the time. HOWEVER, it hasn't been Earth since last Monday, the last element of last cycle. Now, they've made the first element the last element before, and one element last twice in a row, but I've NEVER seen them count one day as BOTH the last element of one cycle AND the first element of the next cycle. I'm so confused. Need more data.

Honestly the Element of the Day is totally random. I have been playing since Day 1 of this game. It is random.

It hasn't been random in the six weeks I've played. After day two or three of a cycle, I've accurately plotted out the rest of the cycle five weeks in a row. This is the first time I was wrong.

Like I said, I have been playing since the game came out. It is just a coincidence that there was a pattern for those six weeks.

It wasn't one pattern. The pattern changes every cycle. That's why it took me two to three days per cycle before I could predict it. Also, I'd be surprised if they didn't try to hit all of the elements before repeating.
