the leaks, yet again, have proven true, as the next call of duty, CoD: Ghosts, will be the next game in the series, to release November 5, 2013, an officially announced on May 21, 2013 with the next Xbox reveal.

the game will be released for PC, Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox360, and the next Xbox console.

personally, I think this looks pretty nice. seeing how Infinity Ward will finally make an original game and no more Modern Warfare, i look forward to seeing the official reveal.

THIS. IMO the only good IW games were MW1 and 2 (I did play COD 1, 2, and 3). Usually I think Treyarch makes better CODs, BO and BO II are the best IMO. Am I the only one that thinks this will be a post-apocalyptic/Homefront-esque game? Maybe the "Ghosts" are like Freedom Fighters?

That is clearly an overgeneralization. The difference is every Xbox was packaged with a headset, the PS3 wasn't.

I'm starting to lose interest in CoD. I've been playing since WaW (Still my favorite), and have played them all up until now. Treyarch has definitely made the better games, but BO2 seems like they tried too hard to make it like MW, which was a mistake. They start to get old once the gameplay starts to be the same across releases (MW3, BO2, and now, I imagine, Ghosts as well). Black Ops is the best game IMO.

The amusing part is that Inifity Ward has shared jack squat on the plot or anything that Ghosts is about.
MW3 and BOII have seriously disappointed me.

I fear this be no better.

I miss the good old days of World at War multiplayer. Ah, the late nights I spent playing Zombies until the sun came up. Fond, fond memories.

I still say they need to go ahead and make CoD: Zombies. Throw in every map that has been made thus far, some new maps, a campaign that tells the whole CoD: Zombies story, and new game modes. Automatic best game ever.

For those who don't know the zombie story, look it up. That use to be the best part of zombies, finding new Easter eggs and hidden objects and piecing the story together.

I see no good coming out of this game....

Unless they somehow bring Ghost and/or Roach back, which would make me laugh my ass off, or Griggs...or Soap...Allen...whoever the PC is during Shock and Awe...

That was Paul Jackson. He was the PC in the US campaign for COD 4. And what about Gaz or Yuri? Kamarov?

But seriously I highly doubt this, they said that Ghosts will be a new IP. Until May 21, I'm sticking to my Homefront/Fallout/RAGE theory.
