My God, this has always been my favorite Spyro (only liked the first three games). There was so much charm into it. I love Spyro 2 and 3 as well, but Spyro 1 was a game I used to play a lot as kid. I just 100% in one day, although it is still challenging in some area (hidden gems; and the occasional missing dragon stone).

Series rankings: Spyro the Dragon > Spyro 2 > Spyro 3 > Enter the Dragonfly (ignoring the glitches, this was a pretty good successor) GBA Spyro games (season of ice/fire and rhynocs) > Hero's Tail > doodoo > Dawn of the Dragon > turd > A New Beginning > poo > more poo > dragon poo >>>>>>>>> The Eternal Night.
