What does everyone do with gems? Do you stockpile them and then use them to buy something or when you get 10 do you take a spin in the wishing well?

I save them up for new skylanders so I can have as many money making opportunities as possible. Or if there is a limited item then I'll save for that. I never use them on the wishing well considering the totem poles and I have a shrine of each element.

I was wondering about the price of gems when you buy them with actual money. The price I see is EUR 1,79 per 100 gems, while in the help section the screenshot states USD 0,99. Can someone from the United States confirm this price or did they put up the wrong picture in the help section?

They put the wrong price in the help section.

In the US the gems are 100 for $1.99, but there is a sale going on right now. In the US gems are 300 for $1.99 until May 6.

Were do you see this sale in my game the only gem sale is 12,500 gems for $99 till may 5th. (man i would so buy 300 gems for $2 lol)

On both my game and my wife's game the 300 gems for $1.99 until May 6th has been one of the announcements for a while.

We both used it today to get Hot Head's house.

I'm not sure why it isn't the same for everyone.

Yea, I was hoping that promotion was still going so I could get Hothead's house. I'd spend $2 to get it. No way in you know what I'm spending $6. And I'm never putting $100 in one shot in any game.

What's interesting is it seems to be targeted by device rather than user, because I usually play on the iPad and don't see the 300 gem deal, but it comes up when I play on the iPhone. This is with the same game and Activate login (and Apple ID) on both devices!
