Not that version of his name, Spyro Luva. I think Crystal means his true name, Malefor.

Also Crystal, I think on either this part of DarkSpyro forums, or "Fandom" there is a topic that tells you what his name means.

It means "Power," or something...

Malefor's name come from tha Latin word maleficum which means evil

i acually learned that from my favorite song Whisper by Evanescence.I was watching a video on youtube with the song's lyrics and they said "Servatis a maleficum" whitch was translated as "Save us from evil."

Thus maleficum means evil smilie
