In the comic-con video it shows and in a forest. In some of the pictures, it clearly looks like the same place. I wonder if it transfers from day to night. And if theres ever a sunset, that would be neat!

Well, there is free roam in DotD. So if you go back to one of the levels and play around, then the sun will probably go up and then go down to show the moon and the stars.

I have a theory that at the end of the game, after the DM is defeated the darkness is lifted and all is well again.

Yes that would be sooo neat!! (I hate myself but I have to doubt about it a little. Ehm ehm: *speaks with a deep solemn voice* "Do not expect much and then be pleasantly surprised" )...But what would have been great about it it's that in the game such detailed, there would be some different effects and features for day, like butterflies, dust floating in the air and so on... and for night there could have been fireflies, the flowers closed, some of them could be glowing like the mushrooms in ANB-TEN. Yeeeeees, and the sunrise sunset thing. I LOVE sunsets and the sunrise even more!!! Gee, just imagine the lighting

Yeah night and day would be nice. I would also like to see weather effects, rain, wind, snow, etc. Maybe the weather would affect how you could get around as it would probably be difficuly flying in a windstorm.

That'd probably only be possible on the Wii version,and I don't think that any Wii games have the ability to get the current weather in real life.:>

That would be totally cool but i doubt many games have such a lot of possibilities and random weather changes and so on...

Yeah a thunderstorm wold be nice. Spyro and Cynder would be like two lightning rods flying around. I would like fog in the mornings or evenings to give the environment that chilled eerie look.

That would be so awesome if it had Sun Rises/Sets and weather, but you cant expect too much from this game. There's always hope

wow Imagining something such nice makes me wanna say the developers to make it in the game under the threat of violence

It would be cool if their was a light spyro and you could use him like dark spyro and then you can fly through the night as light spyro. He would look like a shooting star!

Well day and night is probably very likely...most games have them nowadays and they don't seem to be too difficult to make. I liked how the background music would change in the day night sequences in Zelda Twilight Princess.

I hope if the dragons get wet they will appear wet when they come out of the water. Thats a detail that always bugged me in some older games.

What other little details would you like? I would like some wildlife to chase around. Maybe some clouds to fly through, that way you leave temporary holes in the puff balls.

That would be cool. You've gotta wonder how much detail they put into it. I kinda doubt they'll have hours and minutes and things like that, because they have cutscenes and stuff, and they probably wouldn't make it change for each time of the day (example to make what I'm trying to say clearer: Say you're flying, and it's night, and a cutscene comes up. Say you're doing the same thing, same place, only it's daytime, and a cutscene comes up. They'd have to make a cutscene for each, and I doubt they did that) Though I have seen some games where the cutscenes change depending on whats going on, like Kingdom Hearts for one.

I think I've only seen 2 games with the day/night in minutes features: Pokemon Crystal and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

you can't fly above the tree's. so we coulden't fly through clouds

maybe if they were cirrus (low to the ground) clouds.
