OOC: well it was a tie >_____>

The Hunger Games is a annual competition between children of the ages 12-18 to fight to the death. The children were chosen at an event called the reaping where everyone in the district was to attend. The children`s names were placed into a bowl and chosen at random. There was one boy and one girl from each of the 12 districts. They have been going on for 76 years but now it is coming to the 77th year. Effie Trinket is wearing her usual outrageous outfit. Her big green wing matches her dark green dress and her almost pale face. She chooses the ladies first. This is where your story begins. You have been chosen as tribute. The thing is, your not an ordinary kid. You were born with a strange power that not even your district knows about. You have an advantage but be warned as there might be others with the same kind of powers as you. You must survive the arena as long as you can and win or you will die. There is only two ways out, to win or to die. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Katniss and Peeta did not win. Only Katniss did. She stuck the arrow in Cato`s head making both Peeta and Cato fall to their deaths. She was never the MockingJay.

Rules:

No god modding yet i know it will kind of be hard to avoid.
Your power must be one element, and no one else must have it. (Ex: Ice)
Please try to avoid mary sues.
You may kill people from other districts that do not belong to someone.

CD looked towards the Cornucopia. She saw some throwing axes. She smirked knowing that she would win if she got them. Bex looked to and saw a nice sized sword. He could tell that one of the careers would try to take it first. He woudnt let them.

ooc: btw, if you quit the rp, at least make a post killing off your character so it makes tracking each character so much easier.

Bex took a deep breathe. He looked toward CD. She then looked into his eyes. He nodded and she nodded back. He looked towards the cornucopia. They had talked about running and getting stuff from the bag.

Oak jumps down, runs to the cornicopia, grabs an ax and a backpack and runs away from the cornicopia.

Eloise ran in the other direction away from the cornucopia

"Thank godness I'm away from there!" Oak says as he walks away from the cornicopia.

ooc: papa, it aint that easy......please try to make it a little harder. ALSO, THE ARENA IS A LARGE ISLAND WITH DEADLY WATER SURROUNDING IT. THEIR ARE SOME PONDS THAT ARE FRESH. THERE IS A SMALL FOREST. WHERE THE CORNUCOPIA IS, ITS ALL BARREN LAND. THERE IS AN ICY PATCH FAR FROM THE CORNUCOPIA.

CD shot off her platform. She saw the careers already sorting through the stuff. She carefully avoided them and grabbed 5 throwing axes and made a dead run for the forest. Bex took of running. He suddenly ducked as a knife wizzed past his head. He quickly got the sword he saw. He tried to run but was blocked by another tribute. He tripped him and slithis throat. He jumped up and ran towards where CD disappeared.

Oak ran back to the cornicopia to fight some tributes. A career that had a sword cut his leg. Oak limped off in the direction of CD and Bex, hoping they could be his allies.

OOC: oh right I'm a career

Eloise ran to find a fresh pond somewhere

ooc: papa, im not being mean, but i meant that you had no trouble getting your weapons. There should of been so conflict but ill let it pass. also, no one would go back to the cornucopiz >__>

Bex looked around. He whistled a four not song. He listened to the mockingjays repeating it. He then heard another four not song. He smiled and walked.

Eloise ran to the Cornucopia and saw there was still some stuff left. She jumped into the action and fought off some people to grab a bag with food and water and a weapon.

Vikky ran fast. She punched a few of the tributes in the face as she slid under a sword. "Not getting me that easy" She said as she grabbed a bow and arrows, a backpack, and a knife. She started to run but was tackled. She stabbed the knife into a district two tribute, she never saw who it was, and ran for the forest.
