INTRODUCTION:

"Welcome to the new age in technology. Upgrading the world is the only way to ensure perfect life. Superhuman abilities the world has only dreamed of until now. The new world, a new life. This new form of modern living will be brought into action! Selected teenagers from around the world will be put in the pool for testing. New life awaits for the world, one person at a time!"
-The Elite Leaders of The World

PLOT:

Teenagers from around the world were selected to be tested on for a "New Age" in life. Superpowers. The Elite Leaders are the head of the world, they choose everything. The world has changed drastically since 2013. Desperate times, call for desperate science. Teenagers proved to be the best testing subjects for the "Virus" that gives Superhuman abilities, for their bodies are adapting to change. The Elite Leaders hid them in a giant sanctuary, to be sure they are stable, mentally, and physically, before they are exhibited like show-dogs to the public. The teenages dont want to be lab-rats for The Elite Leaders. They will use their new powers to escape, and protect themselves from the dangerous world they now live in. Some hunt them down, other just want them dead. Will they survive? Use their powers to change the world? Destroy The Elite Leaders?

RULES:

No godmodding

I am GM-what I say goes.

You can be an unlimited amount of background characters as long as they fit in the story.
No profanity.

You can have 3 characters but only 2 can be Superhuman.
SUPERHUMANS CLOSED. NO LONGER ACCEPTING MORE.

To kill other characters you must have permission of the characters owner. (ask by PM)

You must be 13 or older, or pass a grammar test.

Blood is allowed but keep it at a PG to PG-13 level.

ROLES:

You can be a normal human, Hunter, or a Superhuman.

Humans could be friends of the Superhumans or be Rebels of the Elite Leaders.

Hunters are people who work for The Elite Leaders and 'hunt' down the escaped Superhumans.

Superhumans are one of the teenagers selected for testing.

Some Superhumans can work for The Elite Leaders, and be Hunters.

Power: Shape-Shifting

Appearance: long light brown hair usually in a pony tail, glasses, rather tall for her age, electric blue eyes.

Personality: Shy but friendy, can be a bit violent at times.

Bio: Bridget was chosen on her 16th birthday. Wort present ever. It was like someone told her she had a year to live, and when she died, they were going to brutally murder her. She didn't have any friends, she spent most of her time in the woods, thinking. Sometimes something in her just snaps, and she goes on a strange bloodthirsty rampage because there was an error in the virus she was given. Her parents died when she was 2 in The End, the year where an apocalypse almost wiped the earth clean of living things. She lived as an orphan for the rest of her life until now. She prefers her dreams more than reality, because sometimes she just can't face the truth.

Other: Can shape-shift into any animal, but it drains her strength if she does it too often.
The amount of energy it drains depends on the size and abilities of the animal.

She starts off as a normal Superhuman, but later joins The Elite Leaders as a Hunter.

Personality: Shy, quiet, and kind.
Bio: Eli was the shy one in school and was always curious about everything. She was chosen just a few months ago. She didn't like to be tested on at first, but it grew on her. Literally. The robotics they injected altered her eyes and most of her body. She will sadly never be fully real again.
Other: Must be charged with something electric if her powers get low.

Also, when we have enough people to start, we will start at the very beginning, where they just arrived at the sanctuary. So it will start before they get tested on.

OOC: Accepted! Fantasy characters are allowed, (i.e. the dragon) Because the science in the century has created hybrids like dragons and phoenix's for wars and law enforcement.

UPDATE: I added a few things to the first post to go into more detail in roles and characters.

Name: Carter

Gender: Male

Power: Strength

Appearance: Short brown hair, blue eyes, wears torn jeans and an old red t-shirt with small holes.

Personality: Tricky and smart, Carter can easily fool people. Often bitter and closed off, unless he is with people he trusts.

Bio: Carter was the first to be chosen. He was The Elite Leader's "Prototype" for experimenting. Obviously, it went well. Carter was promised protection and shelter as long as he did something for The Elite Leaders in return. Carter became a Hunter in return, because he wouldn't stand to be alone on the streets again. After all, they were the closest thing he has ever had to family. Why would he give that up?

Other: Is a Hunter for The Elite Leaders. Has never known appreciation or friendship.
Is The Elite Leaders' showdog, he pretty much does whatever they want, including training the Superhumans to use their powers.

Power: burns things at a molecular level. Literally can turn anything to ash at a touch. The power can be transfered through bullets and knives. The higher the temperature the more power it takes
Appearance: slim, tall, blonde, green eyes, seems weak
Personality: sarcastic, facetious, everythings a joke even life, violent, clever
Bio: he was a normal teenager, besides being an orphan and not remembering anything in his life before age 10. He was tooken when he was fifteen, cleared the mental examination. But it all started with the testing, some would say he just lost it. But deep down he knows he just awoke what he was all along. Became violent, started planning an escape. Started hearing voices and drumming. Took an interest in weapons and the use of them came naturally.
Other: the hotter he has to make something the more energy it requires(this is why he is not like the human torch). Honor is everything, defend the defenceless, reward evil for evil.

Bridget was sick to her stomach. the long plane ride just worked up her nerves. She sat on the cleanest seat of the old gray bus, looking out the window. "Im gonna die. Maybe not today, maybe not tommorow, but someday with these freaks." She looked around the mostly empty bus. "At least im not alone." the bus rounded a corner, sending gravel and dust over the windows, blocking her vision. when the dust cleared, a large, state-of-the-art building seemed to take up the whole window, and she was 50 feet away. "Might as well look at the outside now, for im not going to live to see it again." Bridget sighed. "at least im not alone..."

Jack was trying to keep from shaking 'i hate this' he thought 'i hate big government, I hate hospitals, I hate needles, I hate pills...I hate being afraid'. His heart kept pounding at a fast rate even after he commanded it to stop. 'The elite leaders, no one should have that much power. How did this happen to us anyways. I know because I was the most promising at my orphanage. Everyone else was on the path of a criminal, but I'm special because I know how to use my brain. So they brought me here...I would much rather be a criminal' he thought disdainfully.

The old bus pulled up to the side of the building. The driver, dressed in white, pushed a button and entered a code. A door opened from the side of the building, and the bus drove in. It was dark and cold in the parking garage. The bus suddenly stopped, bashing Bridget's head on the seat in front of her. "Get out." The bus driver said, obviously in a bad mood. The garage door slammed closed as fast as it opened. "Oh great..." Bridget whispered under her breath.

Even though he was terrified Jack couldn't help but smile "you read my mind" he said. 'Now I know how it feels to walk to the gallows. Except this is worse.
