Prologue
The Celestial Moons moved ever close as it shed the light on a purple egg. Spyro sighed as he scanned each egg carefully then he smiled. ''Good.'' He whispered to himself. ''Everything's good.''
''Not for long.''
A shadow dragon appeared and hissed. He was Darkshadow. ''She's mine!'' He cried. ''She's the next in line to be the legendary purple dragon!''
Spyro shook his head as he grabbed the egg but more shadow dragons overpowered him, their only target was the egg. ''No!'' Spyro cried. But it was too late.
Darkshadow laughed as he grasped the egg in his arms. ''Don't worry hatchling..'' He growled. ''You will be my servant someday..soon..''
