I doubt it. Althoe I discovered that if you slowed down the Cutscene when Spyro meet the Chroniclor at the moment when the Chroniclor says "And I've been waiting for you." He sounds realy evil like Malefor?

i also wonder what is the Chroniclor's real name cause his name can't be The Chroniclor. b/c look at Malefor..... The Dark Master isn't his real name Malefor is !! you know what i mean?

Yeah, maby Malefor chose the name 'Dark Master' when he was evil and chose the name 'Chroniclor' just so no one suspected him or something.

i think what dragonmaster1 means is in that book the chroniclor showed spyro.

I doubt the Chronicler is the Dark Master, but it would be quite interesting if he was. There's definitely something creepy about him.

But the Chronicler might have all sorts of tricks up his sleeve that don't involve running about. After all he's a bit like a wizard in appearance.

In the wii version at the end, Cynder says to spyro 'Don't fall prey to the evil here like the dark master and the chronicler did!' well it was something like that, but this tells us that the chronicler was once evil, or something.

It is similar to Convexity because of the way things float about, but the dream place isn't Convexity. The whole layout and everything is different.

yay, the convexity is purple with lots of rocks, the dreams are are sort of blueish and have temple parts in it

I don't think the developers would be that creative to be honest. I doubt that he is Malefor, but it's a small possibility.
