Waaaaaaait!!!! I have done all the work here. Please specify what does my computer made to make it look like this... the first drawings of Infinity were drawn on computer too, you can notice. It's the same but I've used tablet (that's a pen/pencil like thing you can draw on just like on paper but it display on your computer screen)... I mean...
Cheating? CHEATING???? Maaan... I don't understand you!!! I could draw her by hand, but I prefer drawing in photoshop, because: more realistic, can make nice bg's and textures and I make 'em all by my hand. Even the bacground I painted with a modified brush. Btw:::: The lineart for her was drawn by hand and it's not called cheating it's called computer graphics and it needs lot more work than just to draw it by hand. I needed to spend like almost whole day on it because I wanted it to be perfect. If you think it's called cheating then you can drop me out of the contest I won't care 'cause I didn't wanted to win, I have drawn it for fun and for Night Owl of course and 'cause I love drawing, I've drawn it even after I've read the contest is over...before Night Owl opened it again ... I'm not angry but dunno how you could call this cheating. It's the same as if you people draw it in paint with mouse. I mean... they are mostly without textures and bg... but I like all of your drawings, everyone's is different and everyone puts a bit of themselves in it, just like I did.

I say, it is impossible to cheat in Drawing! That's my opinion. Only if one person draws a picture, then the other person just takes it and says, that he/she is the one who drawed it. now THAT is what I call Cheating! Luckly, there is no one here, on this topic, that cheated

i did post mine,but it's not working,and yes,even using paint is cheating, i think using the computer is just hiding the real artist.

Eeeh, drawing with a mouse and a pencil are two totally different things.

Some artists are better at drawing on a computer, (Though, very few do) and others are better at drawing at hand.

I always liked drawing on paper better, but now that I am starting to learn more about Paint, the more fun it is to draw on it.

Yea, you're right Tango, Paint is a primitive program and has only the basic functions. Photoshop has many features that many people don't even know and it's more complicated and THAT'S exactly the thing that makes it A WAY harder to master it.
If an artist is good and learns how to paint in photoshop (what takes some effort too), drawing with mouse/tablet becomes comfortable for them (but not easy) But even when the artist is really, really good, (what I am not) it's still a LOT easier to draw by hand. Trust me, at first my photoshop drawings looked so crappy in compare to my handdrawn, that I couldn't even look at them.
Yes, the coloring is completely different from the one you do with hand. It's like... Now I got it. Listen: We have drawing by hand and painting with brushes. Painting with brushes was always a bit harder for us wasnt it? Pencil feels more comfortable for most of the people. And that's the difference between PS and regular drawing. When you draw by hand u usually make shadows by pressing pencil harder to the paper, that makes the color more saturate or darker. In PS you can't do such thing as to make a faded out shadow just by increasing/decreasing the pressure on the pencil, because yu can't to this when you're painting even with the real brushes and water paint. With mouse, so the coloring is much more harder on computer than by hand. And that's why I like it. If I'd keep doing the easy things, I would have gotten anywhere...Although photoshop doesn't really work exactly as painting, it's much closer to painting than drawing.
You may think I take a color bucket tool and fill in the whole area to make it easier. Actually not, I don't like this tool because it makes my pictures look crap and it leaves some places unfilled so I do it with the regular brush.
Ok, you can still make lot more effects than when drawing by hand, such as xou can choose whether you want the brush to be smooth or hard or you can choose different brushes: round, sponge shaped and even flame- shaped if you make one for yourself. but this you can acquire too, when you're drawing by hand. In conclusion I'd say some things are easier to make when drawing by hand and some other things are easier to make in PS... that's why I make lineart mostly by hand and just then I scan it to my comp because lineart is harder to make in PS... I don't even know why... but they really are. They are smoother when you draw lineart by hand and do just the coloring in photoshop. Ok I've been talking too much, but I'm really trying to make this clear and to end the cheating discussion 'cause I feel responsible for it... I started it with posting my photoshop drawing...

btw I'm thinking if I should draw Infinity once more if you want, but by hand now, for you to see, how it looks in compare to my photoshop drawings but not yet... maybe... later
