Well, it's not easy, first you have to learn which brushes are best for which situation, then you must learn to use textures, highlights, etc... it took me about a year and a half to master it and I'm still learning
But I'm sure you'll be very good.
Also it's positive to have a tablet of your own, it's easier than drawing with mouse.

Maybe Tango means that she made it completly on photoshop. It can be done/made with anyting.
