S1 regular worth most [CLOSED]

What regular skylander from S1 do you think will hold the most value? I'm gonna have to go with Whamshell just because it was the hardest one to find in any store and I had to get it from AMAZON!

Dark Spyro can be had for $30. Boomer is now $60. Boomer is king of expensive.

That being said, it is LUDICROUS to assign future value to these. It's all a matter of supply and demand. When Activision decides to re-issue Boomer (probably in SF) expect prices to Boomer to drop like bricks. Those who want to collect all the figures will still pursue them, and I suspect sellers will hold on to the current prices with dear life, but my guess is they'll have to drop it to sell.

Watch--once Boomer is announced for Swap Force, tons of people will try and sell these on eBay--but it will be too late. The flood on the market and lack of demand (because someone can buy the new Boomer) will cause prices to fall.

To answer the OP:

Agree with several posters in the thread so far; Boomer and Ghost Roaster are currently the most sought-after and expensive SSA characters on the secondary market right now, and for the foreseeable future.

All the other SSA characters that were not included in the Giants line-up have decent value, too, currently (Sunburn, Camo, and Wham-Shell, in particular). Dark Spyro is a unique and valuable figure, too. Although I have noticed a dip in his secondary market price recently ... I assume because of various major retailers discounting/clearance the Nintendo 3DS SSA starter pack.

I find it strange that boomer is worth so much. At the end of the SSA run, the ONLY figures I could find at any store were wrecking ball and boomer..... TONS of them! Huh....

^ Same with me, and Double Troubles... Kinda wish I bought an extra, heh. There were plenty of Boomers to go around.

Anyhow, I see Boomer and Darklight Crypt selling for a ton. Also the Prism Break, Boomer, and Voodood three pack.
