This is a thread for those that have found Skylanders at retail or around retail prices on craigslist.

Craigslist for my area sucks. Except the fact that a Clear Stealth Elf sold for $300 close to me.. And I got it for retail.

I passed on a few things though but if I had the money I would have gotten them.

One person listed the SSA Standee with Trigger Happy for $25. It's the one seen in this pic here. This is the one I stay up at night for not jumping on. But..where the heck would I even put it?!

Another person had listed the SSA 360 Bundle opened (As in, Green Gill, Spyro, Trigg, the game and portal) for $30. It was the lowest I've seen it, and they never got back to me. I was totes prepared to drive 20-30 minutes to meet them halfway but..ggaahh.

The one I'd have love to gotten was the $50 someone wanted for Gnarly Rex, Jet Vac, Cynder, the portal and Wii game....but I just couldn't get myself to drop that after just spending money on other things.

No, it pretty much sucks for everything everywhere.

^ well I got my dog AND cat from there. well, now that I think about it, my puppy has hip dysplasia and is going to die and my cats a noob...

Craigslisters will usually negotiate, so try working them down. And always meet in a public place when you have a deal.

yeah... bad things happen if you dont...

Free local classified ads. There's a "personalized" Craigslist for every major city in North America, as far as I know. It lists anything you could find in a newspaper classified section, from selling various household items (like Skylanders, art, computers) to selling cars to advertising job listings.

Someone posted a flocked erruptor 3 pack for $180... I'm not buying.

Actually, when I started looking for cheap skylanders figures to get my daughter this past Christmas I scored big on Craigslist.

Yep. Not everyone on Craigslist is a scalper. Some people just want to get rid of stuff they don't want anymore. You can find some good deals if you are persistent.
