How do you clean dirty Skylanders? [CLOSED]

I just got a used figure, and I can tell it's been loved because of how worn down it looks and how gross it feels to touch. For a normal toy I'd probably just let it soak in some soapy water for a day and then rinse it off, but I'm guessing that won't fly if I still want my Skylander to work.

Do you guys have any recommendations for cleaning your Skylanders?

Not sure if the bottom needs to come off. I would use mild detergent and would generally avoid soaking them. It would be a logical question for Activision to answer.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

I use a can of pressurized air to get rid of the dirt in the tough places to reach and then go over it with a disinfecting wipe.

Cotton balls, Q-Tips and some mild soapy water.
I use the Q-Tips for hard to reach places (like inside mouths, under chin etc) and use the cotton balls to wipe off the rest.
