1. It's an amazon.de exclusive because they put it out first. That does NOT mean it's literally an exclusive figure ONLY for all of Germany!

I ordered mine off of Amazon, it listed as shipped today, says I'll get it March 23... That was a pre-order, and the pre-order seems to have become unavailable a few days ago. Not sure if she'll have a normal listing now...

That's what I have been saying from the jump. It only makes sense, they had the Times Square release then they had the early exclusive rights to her so it only makes sense they would get her as well.

3 Euro, so about $4. At current conversion rates, the whole transaction is about $21.50.

I'm glad I jumped on this, $21 to have it shipped from Germany to Minnesota in the US is a heck of a deal. No matter who has it in the US, it is WELL worth the extra $5 to not have to spend time and gas money tracking it down here.

For anyone still looking, amazon.de has listed her figure as available again. Just ordered one for myself as I missed out the first go-around.

The states is probably cheaper, mine turned out to be $30 Canadian all told, 30 and change (as in under $31), which is about exactly double the normal price for Giants in stores, $15. I have to wonder what it would have been if they had let me up my order to 3 as I wanted, I suspect the other charges wouldn't have tripled, so it would have been less than the $90 that is 3 times the amount... Oh well.

DHL merged with the german post service a couple of years ago and took the parcel delivery service. So here in Germany I don't have a choice (Sometimes thy use the german spedition "Hermes"). I don't know how amazon handles international shipping.

Do Toys rus Sweden post to world? Also how is their postage compared to Amazon.de. Toys rus here in the UK charge £4.95 for local delivery which is quite expensive.
First time I used amazon.de and am quite impressed with their service, hope its always like this. I would like to try other country's in EU to get things when they release as UK is always late to release things specially skylanders.

I guess Americans aren't used to dealing with this. We Canadians always have to deal with this stuff when ordering things from the States. The credit cards / whatever do the conversion automatically. If you were to walk into a bank, convert money to Euros manually, then walk into a German store (or whatever), you will always get a better rate, but of course with Amazon that's not an option. They take the basic exchange rate and up it a little to make a profit on the exchange (the bank does too, but it's always less than any other conversion). My bank is listing this as the description of the transaction:

"Point of Sale - Visa Debit INTL VISA DEB RETAIL PURCHASE Amazon EU [Censoring the ID just in case] 00000000022.44 EUR @ 1.374332 "

...Meaning the charge was 22.44 Euros, and that day's exchange rate - after being raised to make a profit - is 1.374332. So 22.44 x 1.374332 results in the final Credit for that transaction, $30.84 Canadian. If I purchased Ninjini with the same price today (not sure if the price might change now that it's not a pre-order, but let's pretend the price is the same), the charge will be slightly different because the exchange rate would be something else besides 1.374332, exchange rates change every day, possibly including weekends.

It works like niceguy says banks however usually change exchange rates daily. When there used to be a big difference between US to Canadain dollar, I know people who would play the market buy US when it was low and exchange it for Canadian when it was high. Banks change it regularly (daily usually) to match the market. Stores however usually do not, they usually have a general conversion rate they use but it depends on the store/flucuation of the $ market. The bank and almost all credit card companies do however charge a rate to exchange or transfer funds from one form of currency to another, this can sometimes make a big difference.

Sadly, Toys R us won't ship outside of their own country, but they do have Scarlet ninjini in Norway, Finland and Denmark as well as Sweden so anyone in those places can get her now.

I get this feeling for some reason that it won't be Walmart...or maybe that's my wishful thinking since I hate Walmart!! Realistically, we've got the exclusive count at this for the main six US stores:

I don't think Bestbuy is even in the running anymore. They give off this feeling of wanting to get rid of what they do have, despite getting that new lunchbox. Recently, we had Target, Walmart, and TRU get an exclusive each in a single wave. In wave 2.5, Gamestop, Amazon, TRU, and Walmart got 1 each, while Target got an exclusive for wave 2 main. It makes me wonder how a giant company like Amazon is losing out on exclusives vs the brick-and-mortar stores. Of course, it could be because of that. But still, my gut is telling me that since Target, Walmart, and TRU got exclusives this wave, that it should be either Gamestop or Amazon getting varients next. That, and we have two in-game varients left to release here: Scarlet and Polar. Hmm...two stores left to get something and two varients left to release in the us....coincidence? I don't think so.

I'm still hanging on to the theory that the Scarlet exclusive will stick to Amazon. I haven't checked, but does Sweden HAVE their own Amazon? If not, that might explain why their TRU got the exclusive instead of Amazon.

no, no Nordic Amazons*. We can get free shipping from Amazon UK, France or Germany though.

I even bought my Drill Sergeant and Molten Hotdog from other places just so I didn't have to go there!!
But it looks like they may not get either Scarlet or Polar, given that they already have Molten. If you don't want to wait for them to come out stateside (if you are stateside), then just buy it off amazon.de. If you want to wait, then do so. It's all good in the end anyway.

Other than the "People of Walmart", there's also other reasons. Walmart treats their employees horribly!! They encouraged employees to go on welfare instead of having health insurance available to them like the law requires when you're not temp and work there for more than 3 months. They got in trouble for that. Add the lower than minimum wages, the fact that they fire anyone who tries to make a union to ask for fair treatment too. My personal favorite was the fact that they took out 3 million dollar life insurance policies on their 90+ aged employees. Yeah they hire you for peanuts, but if you die, they get alot of money! And the sad thing is, it's actually legal! Oh, and I can't forget, the "lower prices" come at a cost. They make companies produce items at lower quality so thy can sell them for less. So that bike you bought there? Might wanna check it thoroughly before riding it. I kid you not!! There were problems with some of their bikes falling apart!! And don't ever, ever buy food from them!! I had a friend who worked there, and when a customer complained about the meat being discolored and out of date, they were told to do nothing!!
