I mean an undead knight, hack n slay mode?
That sounds like solid fun, why does he have such a bad reputation?

Is he fun to play but not powerfull or is he just no fun in anyway?

i think people say he sucks because he doesn't do a lot of damage

I used to think he's weak but now he's pretty strong.
Underrated in my opinion, but Ghost Roaster is more.

What does make him so weak, is he so squishy or just dont bring the dps?
How can a melee char have low dps..?
I just ask cause i realy think about getting him...or not

His series 1 version isn't very strong on either path however with his new wow pow he is much better

he should be op but aint. people get disapointed....

The games is unbalence do the lack of mp, if there was mp the game was way more balance

You should really use his Wow Pow.

He's quick enough to truly hack n slash around enemies to get the job done. There are just many other characters that send out huge damage at once and from a distance that are much easier to play with. I have S2 but not his wow pow yet and he's pretty fun. I like that you have to worry about him a little bit bc you need to run around slashing many times and using his abilities as a whole instead of spamming one powerful move.

Chop Chop really only was thought of as an ultimate stinker back in the days of Spyro's adventure. He did not have his wow pow, and thus had to resort to his low damage melee attacks, poor defensive ability that is his shield, and a ranged attack that totally exposed him for a painful counter attack. Now he is considered quite OP thanks to his wow pow.

Yes, it's leftover S:SA hate. Back then, his shield was bugged and would constantly drop while you were trying to defend, his melee was far more prone to misses (think Blademaster in S:SA vs. Blademaster now) and he lacked a Wow Pow. A lot of people came to Giants thinking that nothing had changed, but even plain S1 Chop Chops have been benefit to a host of game engine tweaks that made them better. S2 Chop Chop, as MrMorrises says, is considered to be fairly broken now.

He can beat 90% of all skylanders without taking a hit of damage. An extremely underrated character.

Well nobody thinks he sucks WITH the wow pow. It was before the wow pow that people through poo at him.

My cousin was actually a beast with choppers in SSA, and could compete with many characters at a much higher level. I still dont know how he did it.

Interesting, I actually thought Chop Chop was good. Certainly better than Drill Sargent.

I def enjoyed him in SSA, and he is currently on-route to me as a series 2 to try him out in Giants. TBH i dont think there are any characters that are so bad you can't enjoy them

Choppy was my first undead skylander, an element I needed badly for the 3ds version and the wii version I find everything I needed, so at first I was obsessed with him, but then I got cynder a mere week later and I stopped liking him so much, after reading reviews about his performance in SSA, I also came to the realization that he was horrible, so he became my least fav undead skylander after I did eventually get hex and ghost roaster, and I barely used him, eventually I got his s2 in the battle pack, which I was not happy with and I took him down the vampiric warrior path, I still hated him as I found his wow pow rather useless on the path, I couldn't take it anymore so I switched to undea defender, now I love him again (S2 only tho) he is scary strong, wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley....

I've seen fair comparisons which compare him against characters with similar roles and capabilities, and sadly he falls short.

With his Wow Pow however, Undead Defender is utterly terrifying, that shield bash is crazy!

Finally, someone made a topic about this! Chop Chop has always been one of my favorite Skylanders, and I personally thought he was pretty good. His S1 version has a weak sword, but I found a solution in simply spamming his Arkeyan Cyclone, which turns him into a monster. His S2 version has an infamously broken Wow-Pow that works excellently on both paths, though I still prefer Vampiric Warrior.
