when i was fighting cynder in her lair i was examining here back legs(i can't draw them) when she hit me with her tail,instead of doing the turn-around-lots-then-faint,death spyro spun aroung and fell on his back,i did this twice then coulden't do it again, normal?

That's happened to me before in ANB and TEN. It is normal.
