Where is the best place to find these guys? I'm trying to rank up Triggs and can seem to find any.

If you have it, I use Chop Chop's Heroic Challenge (Dungeoness Creeps), which has 6 Mages - 4 on the "downstairs" path & 2 on the "upstairs" path.
Do the downstairs path first, then Restart Challenge after killing the two mages on the upstairs path.

I think the fastest place is Sonic Boom's Heroic. You get three of them right at the beginning, almost in a cluster. When they're dead, restart the challenge. For me, it's gone faster this way than in Chop Chop and Cynder's.

The Rumbletown level also seems to have the most mages of any level. Especially if you stall in the arena battle, for a bit, at the end before you kill Brock. Right before Brock dies there's, like, 8 mages that appear.
