So my friend snd i went skylander shopping in toysrus to find ourselves make wierd picks.

Instead of buying the triple legendary psck of jet vac slambam and ignitor he opted for
Doubletrouble flashwing and i think zap (unsure if it was zap).

I bought stealthelf instead of legendary stealthelf.

His choice was logical as he bought starter pack triple psck hothead and eyebrawl which gave him every
Element.

I picked normal stealth elf because i think she looks better. Are we nuts or do others pick
On looks over stats?

Mmmm, I guess I'm shallow enough to go by specific tastes or other weird parameters. Of course, I'm also in New Zealand and thus have NEVER seen any variants except for the golden dragonfire cannon pack.

Still, I personally avoid variants like Legendary, recolours, whatever. (mostly because I'll never see them physically here)

are you trying to collect them all ? if not then you both made great choices but on the other hand if you are then you should have gotten the exclusives first.

I've never compared stats, so I go by what I understand, that the special characters (maybe only the in-game variants) have slightly different stats, but they seem to be only slight, so it doesn't feel like a deciding factor.

So that just leaves looks. And for me, the variants feel more unique, because they're harder to find and thus fewer people have them. I like the variants to be different.

And again, they're harder to get, so you should get them if you can. Outside of the stores they tend to cost more than regular characters.

Just pick the skylanders you like

Legendary SE has better stats, as do all the legendarys
