I got the iPad version through the app store, and it's bad enough that I paid $7 or $8 (can't remember) for two levels. How about getting the last two unlocked, fellas?

It really is pathetic. Activision or Vicarious Visions should at least acknowledge what has happened with this title. Their utter silence is disrespectful to their customers.

As a starter pack purchaser it kinda make me a bit miffed.
I wont care in the end if they actually update it. But with price cut for the starter pack recently it doesnt look very likely.

Lost Islands keeps getting updated because its a cash cow. People use really money (stupid btw) to get overpriced items. Battlegrounds was not made to be a cash whore so they have abandoned it. Sad. To me its a closer sibling to the actual Skylander games than Lost Islands or even Cloud Patrol.

Imo it doesnt matter if it was designed to be a cash whore. They packaged and marketed it just like the console and DS version and its barely more than a demo for the same price.

And yeah spending real $$$ on lost islands is rediculous, especially at the cash to gems exchange rate and the gem price on items the way they are. The current special on $1.99 gem package is the way it should be. If it were, Id buy some.

There's no need to buy gems in Lost Islands. I'm surprised that people do, and I guess glad in a way since it is probably what keeps the updates coming.

as for my opinion, i feel like they just given up on this. I have had this game since Christmas and there still is no changes. THEY EVEN HAVE THE HOLIDAY LEVEL UP EVEN THOUGH IT'S JUNE!!!!!! GRRR!!!! if they update it, thats cool. If they stop it, i don't care at this point.

I thought it was worth the 2.99 I paid for it. (It was on sale)
