Just wondering--does anyone know the dimensions of the boxes that Activision ships their SSA and SG (regular and Giants) in? I'm also curious if anyone has a picture for the product layout in the boxes and the "white" material (felt?) that is preventing scratches on the plastic.

I'm particularly interested on the layout for SSA figures--for Giants, they can be fit quite nicely in a contrary configuration for maximum storage---those SSA characters not so much.

I'm needing to store my stuff in boxes as I'm moving and figured the boxed configuration from the company might be the most efficient.

Thanks in advance!

Now that you mention this I really can't recall how they come packaged. As far as Target is concerned. They ship 8 regular sized figures in one box and 6 giants in a box. Other retailers might be different. If I have the chance I'll check to see how they are packaged when I go to work tomorrow.

The S:SA boxes came 6 to a box I believe. You had one sitting on it's bottom and then one upside down in the box. They had plastic sleeves on the top to prevent the boxes from being damaged in shipment.

Yeah - I *think* first wave SSA boxes shipped 12-to-a-box, then, cut back to 6 to a box. I don't know how the 12-to-a-boxes were packed (I *think* similar to how the SG 12-to-a-boxes come).

The 6-to-a-box SSA figures were horribly packaged. The entire design was wasteful.

You're somewhat in luck - I don't have anything to measure it with, but I do have a few photos of my shipping case from the six-pack of WERDS that I purchased. smilie

Bazinga was right, they shipped three standing straight up, then three standing upside down, stacked on to one another something like a capital H (or two chairs, stacked one on top the other). Plastic sleeves on the tops. What's missing from his description is the cardboard inserts...

There were six of these in the case and you can see them in the first photo. Pretty much used to add some stability to the packing/shipping process.

Cool photos...thanks!

interestingly...I'm having a TOUGH time storing my SSA guys efficiently...basically its lay them flat--their girth prevented the efficiencies that are present in SG boxes. Impossible to stack as well. Sounds like TFB had to more or less design a solution for SSA...now any old box works for SG--list flip em around and the right size box fits em snug.

How are the 3 packs packaged if anyone knows?
