I don't suppose there's any topics out there for these? If not, I'm looking for a little help on the more, problematic ones.

In particular, I'm a little stumped on the Trophy (PS3, baby) to talk to all the Wilikin, I've got no idea where I'm missing any, yet I do not have it yet!

Had to work on this one, in fact it's how I started talking on these forums in the first place! Found a list which wasn't quite accurate, but it was enough to help me figure it out. Here, I'll repost what I wrote in the first place:

-------------------------
I had trouble getting this, which is how I found this topic, but I found a list which, though not entirely accurate, helped me get it. Here are my findings.

Possible Rules:

  • You need to get this the first time playing the level.
  • FALSE. Achievements would be impossible that way, and it must have been my tenth time through when I got it.
  • You have to let them finish talking.
  • FALSE. I interrupted a few to make sure of this, I still got it.
  • You have to talk to Auric.
  • FALSE. He's not a Wilikin, the Achievement is specifically to talk to all the Wilikin. I specifically didn't talk to him, though I visited his house.
  • You have to re-talk to people who automatically talked to you.
  • UNKNOWN. I might have, just to be sure, but I think I might not have gotten everybody.
  • You have to talk to everyone listed below.
  • UNKNOWN. There are a couple who might be optional (such as Seraphina talking about the floor things, and maybe you don't have to talk to her both these times), but this is who I talked to when I got it.
  • I got 3 stars, I've been everywhere, I must have this.
  • FALSE. I had 3 stars, I didn't have it. Just because you've been to every area doesn't mean you talked to everybody, or have talked to everybody in one playthrough.

In Helena's House I initially missed the girl Hazel behind the lock because I had already gotten the Treasure Chest in the "cell" and didn't see her to open it again. During my truly initial playthrough I was playing with someone who plays with a "Go go go, farther further farther" mentality, so it's quite believable we didn't talk to everybody.

It's easy to miss Seraphina every time, because each time you're naturally in the real world, you have to choose to switch to Wilikin world before encountering her.

Here's the list of Wilikins I spoke with:
Starting Area -
Next to the bridge: 2 (Livingston before, "Welcome to the island of the Wilikin" and Westminster after, "Monsters are bad", he's wearing a top hat)

Houses on the Left, bottom to top -
Abandoned House: 0 (Can't talk to the ghost, didn't even enter the house)
Doll Day Care: 3 (Linda and the two babies Klaus and Fitz)
Rutherford's: 2 (Courtland and Rutherford [Skystones])

Houses on the right, top to bottom -
Helena's House: 2 (Helena and Hazel in the "cell")
Hamilton Landing: 2 (Hamilton "Hi there" and Wellsley)
Carlton's: 2 (Chamberlin and Carlton)

Town Hall-looking house, middle back -
Stephanie's House: 2 (Olivia and little girl Stephanie)

Use bounce pad to get to top of the hill -
Catherine's House: 2 (Emerson "I hid the town key" and Catherine [Skystones])

That's the whole initial area, Facadeville. Use the two town keys to open the door and...

Next to Earth Gate -
By Mud Flats to introduce it: 1 (Elizabeth)
(She's outside the gate, so you don't need to open it for this achievement, I didn't)

The next section there's a big bomb to blow open two doors. The first lets you into Wing Caves (switch back to Wilikin World before entering the cave).

Next to the big bomb behind a brick wall -
Wing Caves: 1 (Seraphina, tells you about the magic floor things)

Then nobody to talk to for a while as you navigate the cliffs, until you enter another cave with magic floor things, Roc's Elbow. The entrance is under where the Legendary Treasure is/was, you exit at another rolling bomb.

After navigating the cliffside -
Roc's Elbow: 1 (Seraphina again)

After pushing the large bomb down the winding path and reaching another town square...

Three houses facing a town square -
Lower Facadeville: 1 (Erickson)
Talk to him as soon as you enter, he's gone later

Three houses -
Left (Wood Shop): 0 (Auric doesn't count)
Right (Evie's Puzzle Place): 2 (Suzanne and Evie)
Middle (Kate's Keyroom): 1 (Kate)

I do it in this order because getting the key from Kate triggers the big fight, which ends up in the real world.

Once you open the 3-key door (switch back to Wilikin World before opening the door), you get a cutscene where Seraphina talks to you about the Chompy Mage. The Achievement pops when this cutscene starts, if it doesn't you missed someone.

Good luck!

Brilliant! Your guide helped, but I think I nailed down what I was missing....

You need to be in the Wilikin world before approaching the Chompy Mage for it to trigger. Simply shifting it before you hop into the arena doesn't count.

trueachievements.com is by far the best place for any achievement/trophy help.
It is an Xbox site but the guides still apply to the same games on PS3.

Yes, that's why I said "Once you open the 3-key door (switch back to Wilikin World before opening the door)", smilie I meant you should switch to Wilikin World before opening the 3-key door. smilie The thing pops as soon as the cutscene starts, which is just after you pass the bouncy pad, and without Wilikin World I don't think you even GET a cutscene, because the cutscene has Seraphina telling you what's going on, and she can't do that if she's asleep, obviously. smilie Which makes me think she's the last one who counts. THAT'S the moment the game knows whether you hit everybody or not.

I think I might have gotten my original list from TrueAchievements, actually, I've found it quite helpful usually, just that this time it wasn't quite accurate.

Well, what I really did was take down a note of how many Wilikin were in the area, before totally missing that point.
Accidently or not, I've gotten that achievement now, and even if I did unintentionally fix my main issue, you still helped considerably!
