I feel like the Subscription option isn't particularly useful. It just kind of sits there in your settings. It doesn't give you any notifications that a topic you're subscribed to has updated. Personally, I think the Subscription button could be improved so it actually has some meaning being here.

Haven't subscriptions only been "partly implemented" to begin with? I feel like that's the case, and they were never "fully implemented" because not that many people used it. I don't use it... <.<;

It's rather useless because "View Posts" actually serves that purpose - minus the ability to remove threads on that list. I think "View Posts" should be changed to Subscriptions, and modified so you can remove threads that you're subscribed to. Several other forums (namely for VBulletin) automatically subscribes you to any thread you post in (which you can remove). I feel that "View Posts" functions in a similar way.
