My Target order has not shipped yet, but I did pick up one at the store Ghost Roaster was talking about so I could pick out the one that had the best paint job. Wow, I do have to say that in general they are very inconsistent - glad I went and picked a good one out. The mouth and legs in particular seem to not match up very well on the paint and I saw a couple with drips on the base. Of course these are harder to match up given the translucent model and paint, but a few of them looked really bad. I never really noticed a problem with regular Flashwings in the store.

Just a heads up; I went to Target and they did not have them.

In there inventory gun; they said not to sale until March 19th, 2013.
Since I had my phone, I showed they were already listing them.

So, then all of a sudden, they had them.
Here is my proof. I bought 3.

Obviously, something, somewhere has a March 19th date on it. We're seeing that exact date at multiple stores everywhere. I seriously doubt random, hourly Target employees all over the country are secretly potting together to keep you from being able to buy your plastic toys. Use some common sense people.

The reason why they are saying they can't sell it is because the DPCI is currently not on any planogram.
And won't be until March 17th. So in the PDA it shows as no location.
Now this planogram is actually a revision set. What that means is that it can be set anytime from now until the end of the week of March 17th. That's why some stores already have them on pegs and others only have them in the back.

Just happened by a Jade today at Katy, Tx Target they had 4 to pick from the bad paint jobs. My son opened it and it is soft like others report. Cool because I always thought the original was too sharp.

Several Target locations in Charlotte, NC now have Jade Flashwing listed as "in-stock", in case anyone local wants to pick one up. I nabbed a couple this evening, thanks to a sweet tip from a fellow board member here. Thank you!

Yes, the only difference is the packaging.

And no, they're not scheduled to get Jade Flashwing.

Got mine last night in the West Carmel (Indianapolis area) Target. They had none on the shelves, but thanks to the "in stock" on the website (and the help of these boards) the employee found the box in the back room. Thanks everyone!

@Eric-K good to know. I tried to grab one in the Glendale Indianapolis store last night and despite the employee being very helpful he never could find the 6 they supposedly had in stock!!!

Side note: I did find a Granite Crusher. Are these starting to make the rounds again or did I just luck out?

Mine were just sitting on the shelves. Could be that someone negotiated them out of the back before I got there, but I definitely didn't have to lift a finger to make it happen.

And DluA, sure, I'll take that picture when I get home tonight if nobody else has submitted one by then.

I'm sure they want to make sure they actually have some on hand when the ad appears on the 17th. I'm surprised it took them this long to turn that feature off, I know when the ipads, game consoles, etc are hot items they turn the availability feature off also.

I find it funny that the Target stock tracker now says "there isn't a Target within 100miles of my zip code" when I use it on Jade Flashwing!! Apparently it was too much for them to handle and they shut down all the Indianapolis area Targets!! 8-)

I called my NY Target last night to confirm they had these but couldn't make the drive up there. So I go tonight. "Oh sorry we do have them. But they're streetdated we had to pull them." I used to work at Kmart so I know how some of the retail stuff is, but if you guys are getting them apparently Target doesn't have a POS enforced streetdate system(like Kmart). I wouldn't say the planogram matters, it's likely just a yellow sticker on the box of Jade's each store got, as well as the popup in the scanner.

I can confirm that my package has just arrived and it is Jade Flashwing (for those worried it be regular).

Hope everyone else gets theirs.

BTW, it came in a padded envelope so my bubble case is crushed. I dont care cause I open my sole copy I purchase but others might not.

I work at a target. We got them in yesterday and they are hard locked at the register. We cant sell them till 3/17. They come in a case of 12 with a unique item number
