Help, portal of power isnt working! [CLOSED]

It keeps on saying: The toy on the portal of power has a problem, please remove it. this didnt happen until i got pop fizz and swarm today.

Are Pop Fizz and Swarm factory defects?
I got a S2 Lightning Rod and he was a factory defect.

Hello Madscience,

If those are the only two toys that give the error, you can try resetting them. Below you'll find a link to our support article with instructions on how to reset them:

If that doesn't resolve the issue, try other Skylanders on the portal to see if they work. If they do work and the only two that aren't are Pop Fizz and Swarm, there is a 180-day warranty for all Skylanders and you can get them replaced by contacting our support reps.

Yeah, find a friend to replace the portal..it almost sounds like that's the problem since RFID chips across all characters simply don't go bad. My house is crawling with portals--I think I've used mine as a drink coaster LOL.

well, after a game restart the bug went away. it really scared me though. and i dont have any friends with the game anyway.
