With these being on sale for a great price as noted in another topic I bought 24 of them. The problem people are having with them is that some of the new Skylanders do not fit. My plan is to stack them 4 high and have a total of 6 columns each 4 high. I will use some hot glue to secure them together and than mount them on the wall to use as my display. The Giants will go on the top as they will not fit inside. Now how will I get all the Skylanders, Newlanders, and series 2 figures to fit if they are too tall. A Dremel. From the photos you can see there is more than enough room once I modify them. I only need to dremel for the ones that are too tall.

^ I am going to drill 1 hole in the center of the top one and 1 hole in the center of the bottom one. Then I will use the metal drywall anchors and screw them directly to the wall.

I decided to stack them 3 high so I will have 8 columns 3 high. I went this route to have 24 available spots on the top instead of 18. The giants and adventure items need to fit on the top. In the photos you can see they are now hot glued together. I also included a photo of my current display shelf which will be replaced with these.

dude just an idea why dont you put four stacks of three on top of each other then glue them side by side and you will then have your own skylanders display unit lol

That would look good. Only problem with that is I would not have enough top spaces for Giants and adventure packs to fit.
Also by having 8 columns each one will be a single element.

Sorry to be dense but what was the material change you made to the configuration? The pictures you are showing me at top doesn't look like they fit. Are you serious that out of the box these things don't fit skylanders, which is the WHOLE freaking point of it lol?

its a honest question, we all know how these womans can be. so if he for example can tell what he said or did to get allowed to place this in the living room. it will help and be of value for us that read this topic.

@Kappa. That's not my living room. That is a bedroom that is strictly a playroom.

@Ghostroaster. There were about 5 or 6 figures that wouldn't fit. The pictures I posted were to show why they didn't fit. That lower plastic was in the way. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel and cut the plastic away for those 5 or 6 figures. You can see from the final picture they all now fit.

LED lights arrived today. Now I am just working on figuring out the wiring configuration. The displays are also now stacked 4 high each as I found some more buy 1 get 1 free. I will post pics when I get the LEDs installed.
