Flashwing color/colour variation [CLOSED]

I just picked up a Flashwing that seems to be a more blue than purple (to my eyes) on the painted part of the wings. The one on the left is the new one. The one on the right is consistent with the others I've seen. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm a bit colour-blind but I can see there is a difference.

I can see the difference also. I think it all boils down to different batches/places they are made. I found a cynder today thats wings are different.

yea the other one looks very different it even have helmet, skates and hockey sticks on it. thats weird...... lol jk. nah to me they look the same mate, unless you took the shot poorly or just due to lighting effects thats why we cant see the differences. but please not another factory error variant smilie

yeah...i dont see it..maybe a slight tinge of blue at the end of the wings on the first one...but that could be a reflection.

agree with this. they both looks the same too me. Its nothing like the prism breaks

Agreed... it's so slight it could just be the lighting... def not like red/purple lipped Chill or the Prism Break variations!! Thanks for sharing though, good eye for that detail!! smilie

Okay. I could post another photo but when I compare the one I posted to the real thing, the photo seems accurate, at least on my monitor and tablet. Just to clarify, I'm talking about the painted portion of the wings and the also the chest. The translucent parts seem a bit different too but they could be picking up the colour from the painted part.

Anyway, the one on the left is W4128 and the right one is E4122. I have 3-pack and another single that match the one on the right, all bought before Christmas. The W4128 one came in on a shipment to Walmart yesterday morning so there might not be many of them out there yet. Perhaps someone else will pick one up and compare for themselves.

To me the difference stands out. Usually with my particular colour vision deficiency I have more trouble telling colours apart but occasionally it seems to be the opposite. Strange... At least some other people see the difference too. so it must be there. My wife sees it too but she thinks it is very subtle.

I agree with Bazinga. I think it is just a matter of where/when made.

well, the color difference is quite clear and obvious. anyone saying otherwise needs to adjust their monitor. That said, it's pretty insignificant and probably just a reflection of time & place of manufacture rather than any conscious design

they might have changed the plastic on the new one,Ive seen about 8 old versions with broken wings in the package.

Just noticed on the right one the crystal on her head and tail are darker purple and the blue is lighter.
